This is the Lite version of Safe Rider this version has fewer features than the real Safe Rider app.
Safe Rider Lite is intended as a try out, but also ensures that when your buddies just want to know where you are in case of an emergency, they do get a notification. Receiving alarms will remain free this way.

• can’t save the driven route.
Safe Rider is an app developed for horseback riders (but can also be used in other sports). This app records the traveled route and registers distance and speed. Safe Rider always marks the starting point so getting lost in the woods is history! The Rider can easily see his current position. Most important feature is the Safe Rider falling alarm with GPS location. This alarm is used in case of emergency, and gives the exactly location where help is needed. The alarm can be sent to your "buddies" either manually or automatically. Help can be sent quick without having to search the victim in outlying areas.

Could not register my phone. It does not recognize my country code. Neat concept but poor execution. In order for a product to be useful to this audience it needs to be easy to use and this app is obviously going to be more trouble than its worth.

I just downloaded the Lite version, which may be a problem, but it is not enticing me to buy: App has to restart *every* time I open it. This means no photos out no tracking. I can't find a way to pause and get back to the ride. This has great potential -- if it worked...

I have tried to use it a couple of times, but where we live, we often do not have cell service and I find I have trouble keeping a signal and it just tells me that it did not record my ride. . It is a great idea, especially since I ride alone a lot, but from what I heard the horserider SOS is a far better program, however I believe it is only available for iphone users. Off to do more research as I think I shall pass on this site for which I had such high hopes.

It installs but won't find the driver token. No idea what this is or why it can't find it.
