AlmereApp

Met de AlmereApp heeft u Almere op zak. In deze gratis app vindt u nieuwsberichten van Almere, evenementen, voorzieningen bij u in de buurt en een herinneringsmogelijkheid voor ‘bakkendag’; de juiste afvalcontainer op de juiste dag.
 
Om u de juiste informatie te kunnen geven heeft de app gegevens van uw telefoon nodig. De gemeente kan in geen geval privégegevens van uw telefoon inzien, verzamelen, veranderen of verwijderen. Dit is technisch uitgesloten. Ook kan de app geen persoonlijke gegevens naar derden sturen.

Er zijn een aantal machtigingen nodig om de app te kunnen laten functioneren. Hieronder een uitleg.
 
Uw locatie
De app bepaalt via de gps-functie op uw telefoon uw locatie. Daardoor kunt u in de rubriek ‘Om me heen’ de dichtstbijzijnde voorzieningen vinden(zoals apotheek of parkeergarage). Dit gebeurt lokaal op uw telefoon, de gemeente kan niet zien waar u bent.
 
Netwerkcommunicatie
De machtiging ‘Volledige internettoegang’ verleent de app volledige toegang tot het internet. Dit is nodig om o.a. nieuwsartikelen en plattegronden in de app te kunnen laten zien.
 
Uw persoonlijke gegevens
Deze machtiging zorgt ervoor dat u makkelijk een locatie kunt toevoegen aan uw contactenlijst. U hebt de locatiegegevens dan sneller bij de hand dan wanneer u die weer op zou moeten zoeken in de app.
Voor de installatie van deze functie zijn lees- en schrijfrechten nodig. Met ‘Zet in contacten’ voegt u een locatie toe aan uw contactenlijst. De app controleert dan of de locatie al in uw lijst staat, om dubbelingen te voorkomen. Staat de locatie er nog niet in, dan worden de naam- en adresgegevens weggeschreven in uw contactenlijst; ze worden alleen lokaal op het toestel opgeslagen.

Opslag
De machtiging ‘Inhoud van usb-opslag aanpassen/verwijderen’ of ‘Inhoud op de sd-kaart aanpassen/verwijderen’ betekent dat de app gegevens op uw sd-kaart of usb-stick kan opslaan. Dit gebruikt de app om afbeeldingen lokaal op te slaan. Hierdoor hoeven de afbeeldingen in de app maar één keer geladen worden en dat komt de snelheid van de app ten goede. De gemeente kan de inhoud van de usb-opslag of sd-kaart niet lezen.
 
Gegevens versturen
Dit is geen machtiging, maar we vermelden hier voor de volledigheid wat de app wel en niet kan versturen. Contactgegevens, telefoonnummers en andere informatie van uw telefoon kan de app niet versturen. Wel de postcode en het huisnummer die u zelf invoert voor ‘bakkendag’. Als u zich hiervoor aanmeldt, kunt u zien wanneer u welke afvalcontainer op welke dag aan de weg kunt zetten. Postcode en huisnummer gaan samen met een identificatienummer naar een beveiligde server. Deze server stuurt vervolgens de informatie over de containers naar de app op uw telefoon.

Op het moment dat de app crasht, verstuurt hij een foutrapportage. Hierin zitten alleen technische gegevens, geen persoonlijke gegevens. De ontwikkelaar van de app kan met zo’n rapportage makkelijker fouten opsporen en oplossen.

Automatisch starten bij opstarten
Systeemmachtiging is nodig om de alerts van Bakkendag te kunnen versturen. Dit is zo ingesteld dat de app geen invloed heeft op de snelheid van de andere processen op uw telefoon: de app zal dus geen vertraging veroorzaken.
