Tonal Tinnitus Therapy for Android
When I found the frequency that matched the constant ringing hiss in my ears, I pushed play, and was met with 4 surprising and varying, high-pitched beeping sounds. However, with a full time job, and caring for my disabled wife when not at work, will make finding 4 hours a day to use it damn near impossible. As a result I may never know if it actually does what it claims. That said, while it does not mask the ringing, the 4 frequencies it emits (which seem to be in close proximity to the actual tinnitus frequency) is a very effective and pleasant distraction when in use due to this distinctly unique approach. That reason alone justified purchasing it even if only for an hour per day.
Thank you, very useful, much cheaper than £4500 at the Tinnitus Clinic in the UK! Although it's too early to tell if it works long-term, the sound is surprisingly pleasant and does have a masking effect. Could I suggest you allow the master volume control in 'play' mode to influence the calibration screen for the individual volumes? It's difficult to fine-tune them for the level I actually listen at when the volumes in the configuration screen aren't the same as the volumes while the app is running.
Seems to have helped even after only a few minutes!! but I'm having trouble accurately setting the frequency for my tinnitus any advice? Also is this the same technology in the expensive Acoustic NM devices you find in clinics?
Tried the free trial & to my surprise it did actually decrease the volume of my tinnitus, decided to buy the app and give it a proper trial, for the sake of £2 its worth a go.
Really starting to help. Thanks!.
Sound practically vanished! Time to get some sleep (:
Really helps to relax while listening to other music!
First day but find it already reducing stress
This app is great, please keep improving it. EDIT: Thanks for the update. Do you think you could add some white noise to it as well? That may make it easier to listen for long periods of time.
After I installed it, using the volume button, causes the phone (system UI) to reboot. So the usefulness of the app is lost & I will have to uninstall. Moto G4
One week wasn't long enough to know if it was going to work for me. One month would have been better. It's not like this is an app you can use once and never need again.
It so fun
I have epilepsy as well as tinnitous. While I was fine tuning the app I had an extremely sudden epilepsy event. The event may have been coincidental but given the timing and the magnitude, I would recommend using extreme care if you have similar health issues.
It so fun

I can hear upto 17.5khz and I believe my tinnitus is around 14khz although it's hard to pinpoint making this app no good for me unfortunately. What I'm looking for is an app with adjustable frequency that will generate "anti" or "inverted" sound waves that counter it. Does such a thing exist? If I can pin point the exact frequency I'm one step further forward in diagnosis.
