NIV Bible by Olive Tree

I've been searching for a Bible app that allows me to read offline, highlight things, take notes, download additional translations and extra content and place bookmarks. This is the only app I've found that does all of this. I'm returning to the Christian faith after many years of agnosticism. The last time I was involved in the faith cell phones were just barely out of infancy and smartphones were a science fiction writer's fantasy. Now I do just about everything on my mobile, and studying the faith is one of my favorite mobile activities thanks to this app. Thank you and may peace be with you!

This is great. Offline search. Clean design. Commentaries and references. Uninstalled all the others and I'm sticking with this bible app. Plus considering the commentaries I invested in, I'll probably use this app till I see Jesus face to face. My only complaint with this is that it doesn't come with free devotionals the way Youversion does. Would have been great. :)

Cannot navigate to the desired Book, Chapter and Verses. When I tap on Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs is opened. Also, auto scrolling should be disabled, cause sometimes, we medidate on the particular verse(s). I'm using Redmi Note 3(Snapdragon 650 version), Android 6.

The book of Proverbs is missing. Psalms ends and Isaiah starts at v 9. It's a good book but missing out on one book is really disappointing. Please, fix the problem in the Updated version. Thank you. And God bless.

Tried many bible apps which were ok, until I found this one that does far more! I can highlight one word of a passage or more, (other apps only let you highlight an entire verse or more), I can open & scroll two passages simultaneously, I can open and view my notes right next to my passage I'm in, and this app will open in multi window function with other apps unlike the other bible apps I've tried. I love it & I haven't even exhausted all it's functionality!

I've tried other bible apps but none were as user friendly as this one. I also think it's much more esthetically pleasing than others I've seen.

Other apps are good but Olive Tree out shines them all. Works best on Android and iOS systems. Better resources free and purchesed. It hangs up on my Windows system. I love it. Could write a book.

I like being able to see verses on a whole page better, and since I have to use this on my phone, my favorite is the good old fashioned Bible. Since my Bible isn't always available and my phone is though, this app is the next best thing.

I enjoy the app. I used it before on an older Android phone and had problems that couldn't be resolved. So far my only concern is I keep getting emails and when I select unsubscribe, it responds it doesn't recognize my email address. Clever!

Copy and paste does note transmit book, chapter or verse! Extremely disappointing. How can this be? Niv and nvi Portuguese. Samsung tablet A. I want my money back.

I am surprised to find a Bible app of such great help to me. I can read the Bible now from anywhere, not just when I get into the study. So I can now cover the Bible at greater rates than I could previously afford. Sorry. Not too sure what the questions about the book reviews was. But I can assure you that I am in a mood to say yes to anything that will advance the cause of this app.

Easy to use and fast! Used a couple other apps that took forever or were really hard to get where I wanted to go. This one is wonderful!

It integrates all bible study resources together in one place. But I have buy a lot of books. Books are expensive...

My companion to walking with Christ. There is bug when i rename my reading plan then it freezes the screen and i'm forced to close the app.

I really like it! But. ... I wish it had a tutorial! !! Some of the features are confusing.

Such any easy way to study the Bible... Looking up chapter and verse couldn't be easier... Also am finding more features all the time... Love it... Thank you...

Really easy to use and I really enjoy the reading plans. Only would like for maybe a study group option or pastor break down on reading plans.

Only four stars because it could be more user friendly. Do I spend my time in the Word or do I learn how to use all capabilities of this app.

Took one or two attempts to understand the flow, but now it's perfect. Best Bible App for use on a Sunday Service. Get to the verse as fast as the pastor uses in sermon.

The app works great, and is easy to use. The only issue I've had is that it quit working, and I had to delete and reinstall it.

Only used it a few times thus far...but like the feature of making notes..so I can write down revelations...nice!

I loaded this on my tablet and PC. The software works as well as software costing hundreds of dollars. The search function is amazing. They offer as many as a dozen Bibles for free. You really can't go wrong.

Reading and learning about God's word is always an amazing and humbling experience. We should all strive to be the best Christians that we can be.

I've tried multiple Bible apps, trying to find one that could not only give me a reading plan, but allow me to actually read it right in that app! This is great!

I love using this because it's always available whenever and wherever I need it (since I always have my cell phone with me). Thank you for the developer of this APP. God bless you and more power to you group.

Nice app to use when I'm unable to bring my BIG study bible and other study tools that consist of no less than 3 books. Thank you God for all you do, in Jesus name ah men.

I am still learning my way around this Bible app. It has a lot to offer. I am a slow learner I guess but I enjoy using it.

This is a perfect app for on the go or quick reference. God's word is only a click away, no matter where I am. Love the ease of finding a verse!

I think this is a very decent and polished Bible app. I just wish there's a proper way to close the app because if I use the 'back' key to exit, I just return to earlier verses before the app closes.

This app is the best way to look up a verse of any I've found so you can follow along with a teacher. I'd rate it at least a 7 out of 5 stars.

I use the Olive Tree Bible for bible studying, research, note taking, and much more. It has been a blessing to have this tool as a way to explore God's word..

Simple to use, plus great features if take more time to learn app! Saves carrying a Bible taking my Grandson to church and when traveling.

This Bible is really offline and loads up quickly. The search function could be improved to search phrases rather than just individual words.

Unlike many Bible apps, this is genuine offline, thumbs up for that! I don't use it heaps, still prefer paper, but when I do it works well and is easy to use.

I use this app on my tablet and it syncs automatically with the Windows program on my laptop. So convenient!

Very great but wish you guys could reduce the price of books for students like us. Some are very high!
