Una mirada al pasado

Nos gusta contar nuestra historia, porque detrás de Windsor Hotel & Tower hay un largo camino recorrido, para llegar a donde nos encontramos hoy.

En 2017 cumplimos 60 años, edad ideal para recapitular y recordar anécdotas de todo lo vivido.

Hacia 1950, nuestro hotel estaba aún en el pensamiento de Don Rafael Sahade, hijo de inmigrantes sirios que se abrieron camino en una Córdoba que prometía oportunidades.

En 1957, ese sueño se hizo realidad. Nuestro Hotel nació inspirado en el tradicional lugar de descanso de los reyes de Inglaterra, del cual tomaría su nombre: Windsor.

En aquel momento, en Córdoba, los hoteles eran simples “lugares de paso”, pero la impronta de Windsor vendría a romper con ese molde y ofrecer un espacio donde los visitantes estuvieran cómodos y se fueran conformes. Alegre, lleno de flores, cómodo y puntillosamente limpio, eran las principales características con las que lo impulsó Don Rafael, muchas de las cuales mantenemos aún en la actualidad.

Años más tarde, con las nuevas exigencias del turismo y la preponderancia de los estándares internacionales en el rubro hotelero, Windsor Hotel & Tower se renovó ediliciamente y agregó nuevos y distinguidos servicios. De esta manera logramos posicionarnos como un hotel de categoría, sin perder nuestra impronta tradicional.

Actualmente es la cuarta generación de la familia Sahade la que lleva adelante la administración del hotel, en búsqueda de crecimiento y mejora continua.

A look to the past

We like to tell our story, because behind Windsor Hotel & Tower is a long way to get where we are today.

In 2017 we fulfilled 60 years, ideal to recapitulate and remember all lived anecdotes of age.

By 1950, our hotel was still in the thinking of Don Rafael Sahade, son of Syrian immigrants who made their way in Córdoba promising opportunities.

In 1957, that dream came true. Our Hotel was born inspired by the traditional resting place of the kings of England, which took its name: Windsor.

At that time, in Cordoba, hotels were simple "passing places" but the imprint of Windsor would come to break that mold and provide a space where visitors were comfortable and were compliant. Cheerful, full of flowers, comfortable and fastidiously clean, were the main features that impelled Don Rafael, many of which still remain today.

Years later, with the new demands of tourism and the preponderance of international standards in the hotel business, Windsor Hotel & Tower was renovated and new added enough structures and distinguished service. In this way we position ourselves as an upscale hotel without losing our traditional stamp.

It is currently the fourth generation of the family Sahade which carries out the management of the hotel in search of growth and continuous improvement.
