I just made a workaround where I converted the mp3 to wav in another app and chopped with this. Now it's back.

The best $0.99 i ever spent , a tool this cool and with as much functionality should cost much more thanks for the awesome bargain! I wish there was a pc version of sonic chop too, this is by far the best deal on playstore, I have marked a couple of reviews as spam as they are obviously people that should not even own a device smarter than they are lol, I feel terrible for the dev this app couldnt be much better , some people just have issues I guess , ive never had 1 problem with sonic chop I use it daily

I used this app every day almost for making music it's not not working and there's no updates or support so don't waste your time folks

Just downloaded it.. Says select file to wav format.. click on the song I want.. Click convert... Nothing happens?

If this was 6 months ago I would have given it five stars... But for the last six months it hasn't been doing any sample chopping.... Pretty much the app don't even work. I've been in contact with the developer but he hasn't had a chance to test the app on this type of device with the up-dates to the app or phone. I told him I would help him.... Just waiting on his response if we fix it, it'll go back to five stars

This is absolutely essential with Reloop! So cool.

I thought this was going to be the sample edit section of electrum in seperate app. It needs a proper browser and the ability to load wave and not just mp3s. Normally I would refund but I love electrum so much, that I'm happy to support.

Now I can make jams from the mp3s on my phone. Great work!

Nice effert but this chopper sampler will not let me browse the whole mp3 I converted to wave for truncating of many samples just the beginning.

Cannot find my recorded files - needs a browser to locate files for 5 stars

Loving it. Any chance of a search facility to find mp3s stored on phone - can take a long time if you have 100s on there:)
