TCP UDP Terminal for Android
Keeps telling about wrong domain name. It just should try to connect to the address user gives.
God
Does not receive responses
Nice
There is no use of the server functionality if you don't tell us the IP of the tcp server. Other TCP clients need server IP and the port number to communicate with the server
I tried to test a UDP echo server with this app, and it took me some time to realize that the app binds to a random port when sending UDP packets. So it can't receive echo replies from server.
May be harmful
I could connect TCP port with other app. But with this one I couldn't.
Very clear, smart and good performance.
I tried it but it wouldn't work for me. I used it as a terminal to my Windows program that uses TCP. The received characters are screwed up. For example OP CUST SYST TYPE sometimes displays as OP SU ST SYST TYP Also it doesn't seem to send a CR when I tap SEND. Even though I set NewLine Code (send) to CR. I think the problem is an assumption that after each TCP segment means a new line. The program needs to wait for a NL before it ends a line.
I hav'nt test it but it look like a gud
Does this work with multicast sockets (acquiremulticastlock())? Would be nice if you open numeric keypad only when editing numeric fields (ports, font size, etc.) Also would like control of line spacing - there is a lot of dead space between lines.
Nice
I really like this app more than all the others of this type. It would be nice to be able to buy the app rather than watch the adds.
