About WebSharingLite (File Manager)
WebSharing Lite enables you to wirelessly transfer files to and from your phone or tablet using a web browser. You can view images, play videos, and manage files on your device using your WI-FI network.
* FREE, AD-FREE, AND UNCONSTRAINED: The Lite version of WebSharing is entirely free. There are no advertisements displayed, neither on your phone/tablet itself nor in your web browser. Drag-and-drop file upload is included. There are no file-size limitations in the free version. The full version adds more features, but the Lite version is intended to be very functional and useful by itself.
* FILE MANAGER: Use the file browser to upload and download content to and from your device. The file browser is a fully functional file manager, with the ability to move, copy, rename, and delete files and folders on the phone/tablet. DRAG-AND-DROP file upload lets you quickly upload files by simply dragging them into the browser. With Google Chrome, you can event drag-and-drop entire hierarchies of folders. Uploaded files are queued/uploaded sequentially, so you can be repeatedly drag files/folders into WebSharing without worry.
* IMAGE VIEWER: A built-in image viewer provides the ability to display large photos with pan and zoom capabilities.
* VIDEO PLAYER: Play videos stored on the phone directly within the browser. Videos may be downloaded or viewed directly using both HTML5 and Flash-based video players. The HTML5 player has streaming support, letting you quickly skip to a position inside large movies.
* PRIVACY AND PERFORMANCE: Your data never leaves your Wi-Fi network when you use WebSharing. It does not use the Internet / cloud to perform transfers. Your computer and phone/tablet will communicate directly and privately. And because your data doesn't go over the Internet, transfers happen at local network speed.
Network support: WebSharing is intended for use on Wi-Fi networks, but can work over cellular networks if your carrier allows direct access to phones/devices on their network. Most carriers do not allow cellular access.
Browser support: WebSharing supports modern web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
Video format support: WebSharing can play videos using either an HTML5 or Flash-based video player. Video format support varies by browser and operating system. Most current browsers will play MP4 files using HTML5. The Flash player is capable of playing MP4, 3GPP, and FLV files.

FINALLY! Sees external storage. Provides image previews in PC browser interface, the preferred interface. Multiple selections possible with Ctrl+ click. I'd also like faster multi - selection with shift + click. Otherwise, Congrats devs; you've nailed it. Many thanks.

Removes the hassles of carrying a USB anytime you want to transfer. Earlier when I wanted to transfer files, I used to either save them as drafts in my email or start the searching the USB cable. Not anymore! thank you!

This app is good but sometimes it stop to transfer any data. It cant Transfer big data :( ,Otherwise it is good for small amount data transferring without connecting USB cable :)

The web interface freezes often, causing to lose progress since you have to abort whatever you wished to do. Wish it wouldn't be this unstable while uploading files on my phone.

I normally don't rate apps but this is seriously awesome well done.if i were you i would had kept 3$ for 500+mb 10$ for 1gb+ but you guys habe kept all for free. Salute. With love a human currently from india :)

I still give 3 because this WAS one of my favorite app. But then I bought a new phone and I tried to use the app using the same wifi connection but I can see all my files but I can copy and paste any files. SAD. I also send a mail pls fix the error

The app should be able turn on server by creating wifi hostport like superbeam. It is allways not possible to get a wifi network available to transfer data between two device.

I love this app, but ever since the most recent update I keep getting errors. I'll get halfway through a 2 gig transfer and then my connection "times out" and needs to be refreshed, which of course starts the transfer over. Also, there's no clean-up after a failure like this, so I hope I'm not slowly filling my drive with partially completed temp files. I don't know why the session times out so fast now, but I don't like this change. The device I'm transferring to is active, the device I'm transferring from is active, there should not be a time-out like this.

No ads, No silly limitations of size, No pro version, No hassels. Simple, easy to use and lightning speed fast transfers over wifi. A must have if you want to get rid of those USB cables for transferring files. PS :.Folders cannot be transfered. You need to select an individual file. Thought of giving a star less but i have used it so many times that i was reluctant to downgrade.. :)

If you are using internet via proxy, then enter the websharing address in a browser with no proxy selected. It really works!!

Not uploading to sd card..m using xperia z1, kitkat 4.4.4 version.. otherwise its a nice & quiet helpful app to use.
