About SystemPanel 2

SystemPanel does not "BOOST" or "CLEAN" your phone. We've been developing Android apps since the original Motorola Droid (2009) and still have no idea what that marketing gibberish really means.

SystemPanel is a tool to let you view and manage just about everything possible about the goings-on of your device and visualize it in an easy-to-understand graphical format.

If you find your phone using excessive battery on some days, you can take a look and see what really caused it, how long individual apps ran, and whether you were using them or if they ran silently in the background.

Made in the USA. It doesn't phone home. It doesn't send your info to anyone. The free one has ads, but they're pretty and don't annoy. A cheap paid option is available to make them go away.

Root access is strongly supported and enables additional features, but is not required. Root is especially beneficial to Android Nougat (7.0+) users because Google has restricted you from seeing much system information without it.

It's beta. Development is active. Please feel free to join development discussion in the XDA thread here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3552690

Things SystemPanel does:

* Show active apps, record app battery, CPU, and wake lock usage over time to show potential battery drain issues
* Draw pretty plots showing how you used your phone over time and how much battery disappeared as a result
* Analyze recent battery consumption and device wakeups (wakelocks), showing potential problem apps
* Manage installed apps, backup app APKs, uninstall apps, and re-install archived versions
* View apps categorized by the permissions they require
* Disable system packages [ROOT required]
* Disable individual services of apps (e.g. OTA updates) [ROOT required]
* Browse all the technical nitty-gritty about your phone

Things SystemPanel DOES NOT do:

* Send your personal/usage data to others
* Display annoying ads that animate or pop-up
* Constantly try and upsell you to buy other apps
* Magically cool your phone's CPU to increase performance. Lots of our "competitors" actually claim to do this, and they supposedly even manage to do it while drawing snowflake animations on the screen. Such an act should-- according to thermodynamics--heat the device up. And by direct actual testing, well, it does.
* Boost your phone. Actually maybe SystemPanel does do this, we just have no idea what this actually means, so we really can't be sure.
* Increase your available RAM. Android is designed to cache as many apps as possible in the background...to make things run fast. Apps that attempt to keep RAM "free" is a demonstration of ignorance of the design and operation of Android.
* Randomly kill apps in the background. (This just causes Android to load other apps into memory...that "caching" thing). Our scientists believe this may be what the "competition" mean by "cleaning".

This app uses Accessibility services. SystemPanel's "Usage" feature can optionally use an "accessibility service" to show you how much time you're spending in each app on your phone, and when you use them throughout the day. This is useful for those with addiction disorders (and/or their parents or legal guardians) to avoid addictive use of the device/specific applications. Use of this service is optional, and like the rest of SystemPanel, no collected data is sent from the device, it is only displayed to the user.

Nice looking app. However the unknown battery usage makes it unusable. I have given this app root access there should be no unknowns. Regularly getting 40% unknown usage is unacceptable.

"Minor fixes. Compliance with Android accessibility service regulations." That's good and all, but what's actually changed? I know there's been stuff with the accessibility stuff so what's changed here, what do we need to do for this app?

This is the app you want/need if youre lugging a draining battery or even just to see how much memory each app is using. Best app ever.

S70%

Seems to consume about 300MB of RAM... Usually I had much more free RAM than while this program was running in background. Killing it freed the RAM again.

If you are looking for app to see how your phones CPU, RAM behaving how apps using the battery...all details are there in a beautiful UI...amazing app...wishing you good luck developers to make this the best app for monitoring your device..

This is hands down the most useful app on my phone. I am (slowly) becoming more electronically literate and I think this app is amazingly helpful. You guys (girls) deserve a f@&king high five.

Seems like a good app going through it for the first time. But when I try to upgrade it takes me to a screen with a shopping cart in the bottom right corner. I click on it and just returns me back to the previous page does anyone know how to upgrade the app?

Over half the battery drain is unaccounted. No idea why. I'm using in rooted. LG G5.

Tried both methods to try get advanced usage statistics however both don't work... I'm not rooting my phone either. Cannot recommend

Wow very nice gui. I already use fx file explorer since it first came out many years ago. Always loved the dark and blue themes in explorer so I wanted to give this a try since I always used 3c I found this to be less confusing and more user friendly but of cause with less options but a lot prettier gui in this app. Well done sir.

It's hard to find an app and Dev combined like this, an app that does these things without harming your phone with task killing your apps and a Dev that tells us the facts about these task killers is a lethal weapon against the lies and harmful apps that others Devs peddle. ???????? Great Job!

UNBELIEVABLE! got a damn tough bunch here! system panel 2 ! just the name alone gives you a fair sum of what to expect. let alone read the description to become familiar with it's purpose. it's a system monitor for Christ's sakes! it has to run in the background to function. so you download an app only to give a poor rating for doing it's job. truly, UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!!!!

UPDATED REVIEW: Drains a lot of battery, does more harm than than it's worth in its current state. Seems like this app runs in the background, draining a significant amount of battery, even while the screen is off. I tried turning off the advanced monitoring features, but it doesn't actually have an option to do so. Revoking all the accessibility permissions didn't help. Unless I want to track how apps use my phone's resources, I don't see any reason why a system monitor should run in the background at all. Also, generally the CPU usage of it seems really high.

S70%
by S####:

Awesome! After trying many task managers, process monitors, etc., this was the ONLY one that gave me enough detail to track down the app that was sapping my battery. I had no idea about all the other data it gathered, but I love it. Totally worth it!

In fact a great app. Communication with NextApp and service is faulty. Bought SystemPanel time ago. Now I'm forced to buy SystemPanel 2. That's not right. And of course it needs to run in background. But I don't need the constant notification in the notification bar. It's impossible to turn off its background running notification in settings. Very poor.

BEWARE! HAS MALWARE! Asked for admin rights on install. Then Google play started randomly opening to a More Powerful Cleaner ad page often until deleting.

Has everything I wanted to know. Now I also know there's so much more I have to learn. But that can be a good thing right! ????

Great app. Sure it runs the battery hard, but take a look at the granularity it returns. Not for the casual user. Stellar app!!

Un monitor completo delle risorse utilizzate. Peccato per i dettagli del carico della CPU relativo ai singoli processi ma lì non è colpa dell'applicazione, occorre abilitare opzione da developer.

This app is awesome. Some ads though. System/task manager was always my go to for system info. Glad to have an alternate. I find using grey and dark grey themes are easier on the eyes. They help de-clutter the screen and seperate the icons. Its like looking at stars, more light means less stars your able to see. Contrast is very important. But not too much.

This iteration is a complete deviation from what made the previous version so successful. Is simple neat and clean interface. It was easy to get to whatever you wanted to see. This app constantly tries to run in the background. in fact it is next to impossible to turn off its background activity without jumping through hoops. Even then it is aggressive at trying to run in the notification bar.

S70%
by S####:

Desperately needs a CPU & Temperature meter in the top notification bar where the clock vs other symbols are in Android UI. Also "System Panel - Live - Running" never works! I did the PC way with the little exe to run. Says it's good, but app never shows anything. I paid for it too. Galaxy S7 edge. No root.

S70%
by S####:

The info shown bv the app is great, but I can't get the Live/Running screen to show CPU by app, which is the main reason I installed it Also no matter how many times I select other time frames to display info about, it always revert back to the shortest or most recent time window I even did the in-app purchase hoping that might resolve these issues, but it didn't. I tried emailing the author but have not as yet received a response. I would have given it a 5+ star rating otherwise.
