“Valldoreix in the Pocket”

“Valldoreix in the Pocket” is a mobile application developed by EMD Valldoreix, a small town of 8.000 inhabitants, included in the municipality of Sant Cugat and surrounded by the “Serra de Collserola” natural park. The purpose of this mobile application is: on one hand, to provide citizens of Valldoreix with the most relevant and up-to-date informations about their municipality, on the other hand, to promote and invigorate business and touristic activities in the city.Through the app, shop owners can advertise their products/services and offer discount coupons to their customers. For tourists and visitors, the app provides an easy and straight-forward access to the village’s cultural heritage, to adapted hiking trails for the disabled, as well as a reference to the food and gastronomic services present in town.
