New Jerusalem Bible

Too many pop ups in the bottom of the screen. Many are inapropriate, and also adds of porn sites are also coming with .GIF pictures. The Lord Jesus will never bless if we commercialise the Bible as a commodity and also with inapropriate to adds which is creating atmosphere to lead the people to do sin. Imagin while reading Bible using this app, if the bottom of the screen flickered with adds of porn sites with porn pictures. Bible should be given freely to any one. Our Lord will support any one do such projects abandantly. Thank you

Quick and easy to use. I love the reading plan. At first, didn't think I would use the reader - it was too fast, but then discovered it could be adjusted and slowed down. Choice of white and black backgrounds.

Excellent Bible. Got Audio also. If I am too tired or lazy to read, I just listen to the Audio. Thank you and God bless you.

The audio reader is not good. It reads the bible so fast with no allowance for contemplating the word or allowing the word to sink in. Other than that, the app is fantastic!

I love the app, easy to use: book marking and saving notes. It is easy to track my study. But like seriously, I hate the ads in the app. I will prefer to go for the paid app.

I love it. It's helping to meditate on God's words more often....My whole essence.. I feel more fulfilled. I don't like the the app before downloading says "New Jerusalem Bible" but icon after downloading says Catholic Bible..

Thought it was Great app before, because it was very easy and smooth to use. But I can' find some books in it like the book of Esdras, even in the search for words. So far, I can say its very poor Bible app to be called a catholic Bible.

Easy to use and understand. I love how you can highlight in different colours along with the notes and bookmarks.The voice aspect of it however could be clearer and smoother without me having to download one myself.Overall I would recommend this for practising Catholics ????

Very good app very same at the jerusalem bible.. just have a dificulty of continuing reading coz needed to go back to the main book before you can read the next chapter.

You could perhaps work on synchronization such that 1. I see same bookmarks on all my devices where I use the app. 2. Daily verses I see the same on all my devices. 3. This is naturally my choice best Bible App as a Catholic

Really like it and easy to use. Really useful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the footnotes that are found in the actual New Jerusalem Bible are not included in the app.

Very useful. I am using this to aid my reflection during lent. It's good to have this text available and in a well laid out format.

It's good. I need a bible for the prayer meetings I have and if it isn't available then this works out just as well... Also for daily reading this app is very useful. ????????

My only issue is a that the text phraseology is not exactly same with the Roman missal

The New Jerusalem Bible is easy to use and to understand. The text is written in plain English but maintains a reverential tone to make reading it take on a devotional quality. Delightful to use!

I liké how fast bible opens. Just put the app today. It has the book other bible dont have. However Ecllesisticus chapter 26 has verses with no words.

The best Bible for me - for all time. God bless the developers for bringing the Word of God to the people. It is accurate and readable and it's presentation is very pleasing!.

This app is great...and I like it...it helps me to read the Bible even when I don't feel like it...thru it audio...but I ll like references to be added to the verses where needed for deeper understanding...

An excellent companion especially when not at home and want to keep up with the daily scripture readings.

So handy to have a bible in my phone, the version I needed most. I hope the commentaries can be appended later for a more comprehensive referencing.

I think the books of the Bible menu could have been numbered accordingly. The name of the app in the app drawer should be New Jerusalem Bible and not Catholic Bible.
