SMS Gateway API for Android
Error: "This app requires the Internet." How can? All other apps run without problem and Internet is okay!
Just Excellent! Working as it should. Thank you so much for doing this, and more thanks for making it free. This was the perfect application I was looking for to add it into my project. Thanks again!
Fully working on my device. But need little improvement for making this app survive from auto killer like Clean Master, etc. My opinion for solving this problem is by create Connected notification on android notification like BBM. Many thanks for creating this application for free.
1. Can not open setting on Samsung tablet 10 (application crashes each time I open). 2. If the phone has 2 sims, the same messages are sent from both, please let me choose from which message is sent 3. "+" is removed from the message.
Stopped working after a few weeks. Everything pending. No response from support.
Is there something wrong with the app? I always get "This app requires the internet" even though I have an internet connection.
Doesn't work anymore
Wow. It's what I need. Just it's only support 160 characters. And unfortunately, the server recently down, and the support can't be contacted
Good app, but it can't catch long message. Only catch message with 255 chars. Something I need more than 255 character.
The app and web console are absolutely amazing and beautiful. I have deducted 1 star for the following reason - I have set the sync frequency to 1 minute but many time when the app is running in background, it checks the server for messages after 6-8 minutes. Also sometimes it is stuck and gets activated only after I access the app once. Another must have feature should be about the SIM card selection for multi SIM mobiles.
Absolutely unreliable. Support is non-existent. SMS get trimmed by an unspecified length. Messages get ignored by the software due to faulty logic (app throws "failure to check server" error when there are unsent messages pending, but the server understands that as success and marks them queued). Laggy-buggy... STAY AWAY!
This is great. I've found it 100% reliable so far with several hundred messages sent. This is great for making use of included SMS allowance on a monthly phone contract instead of using a paid service for sending computer-generated messages. So, if you use it carefully, you can get a lot of messages sent for free.
Terrible app. It kept having trouble connecting and created multiple ids for the same device. I've gone to starthere sms. Much better and no issues
Please reply my email or there is forum to discuss something about smsgateway.me? I cant send message with error 'Failed to sent message, general error'.
Every message being sent is put into a "pending status" and not being sent. Not sure what's going on but I've reached out to support several times with absolutely NO response. Until this problem started happening I really did love this app, but now it's not working. If this can be resolved, I would bump this review up to 4-5 stars.
It works very well but sometime, my users need to click twice or 3 times on the send button to "wake up" the app and send the sms. Also it could be a great idea to implant custom sender identifier for further versions
I could have given it 5 stars. Initially when I downloaded it, it was nice. Working properly. But now it closes every time I get a text or send through my Normal messaging app. Secondly, when I log in, I cn see the texts. But when I send a text, the web browser warns "whoops, looks like something went wrong.".
Its working alright but now and then it has a bit of "hiccups". Cant access sever. Message pending too long. Also how to stop server reading and saving massage from your fone?
is the service still up? I have been getting 502 error since yesterday when trying to access your website. My app also logged me out on the phone and won't login again. Otherwise no other app is as easy to integrate and works well as this one, but I hope if this is fixed, it won't break down again in the near future because I am depending on it for my business.
It works perfect for me on first time I installed after that app give error "This app require internet" even internet works for all other app. Please fix this.
Just Excellent! Working as it should. Thank you so much for doing this, and more thanks for making it free. This was the perfect application I was looking for to add it into my project. Thanks again!
Had it setup and working with my php scripts in 10 minutes, brilliant!
Being a developer, i really liked this but I am unable to recieve sms's from my second sim , I am using dual sim mobile. Also there is no status for SIM-2 operator. Please fix this Thanks
zeroed down to this after reading about several services. worked like charm. Key features: 1. easy to setup 2. powerful REST API 3. Free Service contains all features
I find it weird. It's always down during Sundays.
I can send just OK, but can't seem to trigger the receive call back at all. The message is received by my phone, but no "Received" even triggered on the statistic
It should be Oke. All messages were sent to server. But always Pending or queued. Event we click Update server many times. Please solution.
This is one of the best ideas I came across and exactly what I need. Using it for several days successfully.
Crashes repeatedly on note 7
Wow. It's what I need. Just it's only support 160 characters. But OK for me. Thank you very much.
What a great idea with API, I apply and working 100% perfectly.... weldone
Does this charge to send international sms?
There are times, it takes too long. However, in general, it works well. Satisfied.
Otherwise, this app is great
good in system but slow in processing
Nice: app, suitable for sending sms from web interface.
Can't login
Hi, I keep getting 504 gateway timeouts? It also times out after 30 seconds. Also messages are truncated when longer than 160 chars
Please, PLEASE!! Don't use plaintext password authentication and get rid of sending back the account password within a API call response. Hash it, or just don't send it back at all. Better yet, provide an API key to use instead of a plaintext username & password combo, or use OAuth for authentication, but get rid of this method you're using right now. Other than that, I haven't encountered any issues, works like charm. Props on providing a simple yet effective API that any programmer/coder can utilize without making anything over complicated. I'll keep my eye on battery drain, but hopefully everything will be OK. I'd like to see the server API source released so that everything could run locally.

Excellent Job there are some few bugs but it is okay I sent the developer 2 emails inquiring about white label commercial license never got an answer. I hope to hear from them soon.
