Volume Control + for Android
It's a one of the best app.
This app is complete garbage. Creating and using the presets randomly work occasionally. Stay away from this app and save your money. Users have been reporting the same similar issues for months and months!
This is the 2nd phone now on which I haven't been able to turn off vibration using this app. On one profile I don't want it to vibrate but it ignores thr setting and still does vibrate. And I noticed it too late so I can't even get a refund. Shame...
When this app works, it's great. However, the scheduler is inconsistent and doesn't always abide by the schedule I created. I contacted the developers months ago, and they acknowledged the issue, but have yet to fix it.
This app reliably does everything it claims it will do and you don't have to be a propellerhead from Redmond to figure it out. They keep making useful improvements, most of which I chose to use on my AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running Android 6.0.1.
Great App. Control knobs could be made bigger so that they're easier to use. As they are now controls are difficult and tricky to use. Otherwise 5 stars.
Want to like this app but the automated elements just don't work. No matter if I choose time, location, wifi, or Bluetooth driving a sound profile, it keeps changing back to 'default' after x amount of time. Really frustrating.
- unable to set 2 or more Bluetooth devices for profile (e.g I have 3 devices but want 2 of them being locked with volume level) - missing ability to set schedule time for Default profile
Not bad, but I think I am too dumb to figure it out.. Lots of configurability. Sometimes what I am able to adjust isn't available...I suppose consistency would be great (e.g. BT vs headphone vs. Speaker). Sometimes they seem linked, and other times they don't. strange.. Wishlist item: Separate BT calls from BT media/headphonecalls from headphone media, speakerphone calls from speakerphone playback (media). I think it did this once, but haven't been able to find it since.
Best volume control app ever. I have had several others that will control volume automatically, but they also activate DO NOT DISTURB and then they leave my phone on silent so I miss calls. I don't miss calls with this app. It also solved my problem with not being able to use different ringtones for different people. Thank you for VOLUME CONTROL +. It is fantastic.
Tried it on my KEYone phone and it doesn't work well. Every time the phone comes out of Do Not Disturb mode the ringer is set to 14% and I missed multiple calls because of that. Looks like I wasted my money on this one...
I only purchased this app because it was supposed to know when I arrive at the office and go into silent mode. I am using the address, but it never changes into silent mode on its own. I have to manually set it (after my phone has already ring and disturbed everyone). I have an LG G6.
GPS location and WiFi detection not working properly. I need these to work with my pixel 2. They were the primary reason I purchased the app.
For those searching, here is your answer. This app... 1.) Separates ring and notification volumes 2.) Locks the bluetooth volume (so it will always be full when your car stereo connects.) 3.) Allows you to set custom "do not disturb" configurations of your choice using time frame schedules if desired. 4.) Paid version allows a darker color scheme which Im longing for now that Ive switched from Android 5 to 7. Everything in Android 7 is bloody white! Also If your like me and your searching for a way to make your notifications vibrate while the ringer volume is set to be audible try this...settings/apps/notifications/"vibrate when sound plays". Now when notification volume is set to 0 it will still vibrate. This is a well designed app with a great interface. They have provided workarounds for every situation Ive ever encountered involving volume settings. I will be purchasing the paid version to support this awesome developer.
On a Galaxy Note 5, Android 7.0, the schedule feature doesn't work, and that is a major drawback for me. I sent message to support and have heard nothing days after the first generic response.
location lock doesn't work anymore on the latest S7 Edge Nougat 7. Have yo manually set it
It doesn't work and had to keep using the physical button to adjust the volume.. Totally waste
Finally an app that prevents Android to lowering the volume each time the cellphone connects to the car's Bluetooth radio! Thank you!
I have been using this app for years. It sits unobtrusively in the background and just works. Easy to use, with presets that respond to the time, calendar events, and more, I never have to fiddle with the various volumes.
I appreciate the ease of all the options to handle the sound volumes with a quick preset
Locks like volume like I want and has widgets that have your presents on them
Nearly perfect app just the one i was looking for does what i want and works perfectly on my LG G5
There is no way to backup my custom profiles??
Just started using. Seems very good.
Best Volume control app on android
Nice app
wow
A very useful app. I commend the developers. I reported a problem and they had an update that fixed the issue in a few days.
Issues with Silent/mute mode has now been fixed. Excellent!!
An excellent app
Everything good now
They used to work thid way: I 'd put '#appointment' in the event description, and Persist /volume control+ would silence the phone during the (calendar) event. Well it's back. Or I found out how it works /worked...out.
It would have been perfect if you could increase/decrease volume by a finer degree than pressing a button
A few quirks exist. Hopefully they will get worked out in future update.
Have had this app for a while and a few phones , all diff. makes and it works!
Crashing many times, me sending reports, sidn't get an answer so far. As promised, will give negative review!
Love it
Separate volumes for ringer and notifications as well as the ability to set profiles is perfect. Developer is quick to help, very happy with purchase.
I really like that you can separate the notification level from the ringer level, something that Marshmallow doesn't allow, but regardless of what levels you set, they keep reverting to the ringer level across all the other settings. Sometimes it happens after 'do not disturb' has activated and cancelled, sometimes after using bluetooth or headphones, sometimes there's no obvious reason

This is a very useful app. I love the widgets. They make this a very easy app to use. It works very well with my Asus Z 10.
