Zemna AppList Backup for Android
Interface is dated and old, bit otherwise the app works fine. I use it in between phones formats or different phone/tablet setups. This doesn't do anything spectacular, just backs up a list of currently running apps, and then you can email it, or locate it via a file explorer (.XML file) and send it directly. XML file needs to be put in the Zemna AppList folder in order to see previous AppList.
It's simple, small app footprint, really easy to use ...and probably the most reliable app backup program that actually performs without fail when U have to restore apps after a reset. I have found that many backup apps have restore failures or requires a fee to actually perform the restore; which they forgot to mention up front. RECOMMENDATIONS: Wish the restore function automatically restores selected apps w/one touch button & backup time completed faster. The bottom line ...it's reliable!
It doesn't show a list of my installed apps to choose which I want to save in my list. It says empty on the top of the screen when I select "backup".
Force close
Great app
Can not download after reset
G2x, backed up but nothing in view icon, list empty.
Not backing up my complete app list. Automatic fail! Update it, or Uninstalling.

Easy and quick
Click Backup but nothing happens & no list is ever made. Don't see a way to save the list anywhere specific or email it either. Droid 2G

I have the HTC Merge and it didn't backup my apps...*sighs and goes off through the archive list on the website to d/l apps again*

App advertises app list backup to email. This feature either doesn't exist or is impossible to find.
Excellent little app, you can select all installed apps, then create a list and save it in various locations, including Dropbox. Now if I lose my phone or my settings I can just reinstall this app, and down load the list
Simple and works. I backup and save to g-drive. Then I can replicate my app profile on any device in a few minutes.
My original phone was acting flaky and I received a replacement in the mail. I moved my memory card (along with the SIM card an phone back) to my new phone and had no problems getting my list of apps installed on my new phone. Zemna saved me time and was easy to use.

if you're not interested in getting over your head with rooting apps like me, this is worth consideration. for some reason, it only works with my secondary email account, although i could be missing something. yet it DID work. those having problems with email, should try _dropbox_ too. intended or not, it works flawlessly for me, & you can download the app-list from any pc to your sd card :-)
Can save xml list to dropbox or email it.
suggestion: An option to append to an existing backup instead of new file all the time.
Great app allows you to send a list of installed apps to it email enabling u to reset phone and retrieve all it apps easily 10* app a must have
DROID 3 constantly "loses" apps when rebooting, so a utility like this is crucial. Makes figuring out what disappeared simple!
Try app backup and restore...
Store in xml. Even with icons! The only weakness - list files are too big (about 15kb per app)
Excellent, just need sharing option for 5 star
Needs a feature whereby all the past apps uninstalled can be retrieved from the play store. Automated counting of apps would be useful
