About Notification Watch for Tasker
Want your phone to do something for you when any notification pops up in status bar?
Notification Watch for Tasker allows you to use notifications from any apps as events in Tasker.
In other words, this app enables all apps that send a notification to be the trigger of your Tasker profiles.
Note: this plugin uses NotificationListenerService provided in Android 4.3+. It works better than the internal notification event in Tasker.
FEATURE LIST:
* Normal Mode:
Filter notifications by the source app and the text contained in the title, text, or ticker.
* Alternative Mode (For customized notification layout like Google Music):
Filter notifications by the source app and all the text strings contained in the notification
* Tasker variables
Put contents of the notifications into Tasker variables
(%nw_title, %nw_text, %nw_ticker OR %nw_line_1, %nw_line_2, etc.)
* Notification history
When creating an event, choose a notification from history so you don't have to remember everything.
* Tasker Action - Dismiss notification
Clear notification - Dismiss all notifications or dismiss the ones you specified
* Watch removal of a notification

Works as described. I'm using it to clear select Twitter notifications during specific hours when I'm not interested in them. Suggest improving the documentation. The app is hard to figure out. Some field help text and in-app help documents would go a long way to making it more useable .

App works as it should, two suggestions would be an option to disable the "action" toast most importantly and secondly, not sure how feasible it might be, but be able to select multiple apps for a trigger. That way one profile could be used to to trigger the same task for multiple apps instead of creating a separate profile for each app.

In alternative filter mode, are there variables for the lines? Also, is it possible to negate the filter (not containing). I'd like to dismiss all notifications from an app unless they contain blah for example.

it would be nice to include an option to deactivate the toast with the text "ACTION!" that appears every time a notification os cancelled

Great app!! Some advices to make it even better: 1. provide an option to disable the "ACTION!" message. 2. (Tasker action) allow the using of a variable (like %nw_pkgName) to specify the source app. 3. (Tasker event) allow the using of 'OR' conditions, or Regex to filter the source app (like 'with "abc' or "xyz" in title'), so that I don't have to create multiple profiles for a single app. Besides, sometimes a matched notification is not captured, but this is rare.

Doesn't work, tried notifications from ifttt and WhatsApp neither work.
