I was very pleased with the quality, ease of use, and level of detail on this app and was ready to purchase the full version until I realized it does not cover the south east! Without this information, the app is about as useful to me as any other free edibles app. I would love an update!

Please make text bigger and change text back ground color. I want to use this but reading this is going to give me a migraine. Make it easier to read and I will happily buy full version.

Like this app although its hard to read with the background colors & white writing. If it was easier to read I'd buy the full version

Works good, but I need to get the full version. Only complaint is I wish there were more southeastern region plants. Other than that, great app!! :)

This app Desperately needs a section on the south east from the Mississippi River to the gulf to the Atlantic. I live in Tennessee, I've lived all over the country and spent time living in state parks and on city streets. I'm a classically trained chef and guides like this have allowed me to not only take care of myself but assisted in saving lives while awaiting medical aid or getting people to the hospital myself. Every region is well defined, except the south east. An app for this region is necessary

Having Steve Brill share his incredible knowledge of plants is truly a blessing. Lite version is great for beginners - lots of easy-to-identify plants, although the pictures are a bit difficult to see if you're not sure what you're looking at. I look forward to downloading the more extensive version when my phone isn't confused about the internet. Thanks Steve!

wouldn't get the full app if this is considered the demo... If you can not use the demo (reading the text), what makes the paid version any better aside from my money!

tiny white lettering on a transparent background is practically unreadable. Will buy the full version if this is improved.

Very informative, good quality photos. Does the paid app have more than one identifying photo of each plant? If so I mite get it. Do u have a wild edible mushroom app as well?

The lite version is what it promises and is easy to maneuver. I never thought I could cook with flowers but daylilies turned out to be delicious. This guy knows what he's doing!

I have gone to a few of his tours and will keep going. This app is great for when he isn't actually there.

Asiatic daylily, dandelion, and epazote have wrong latin names. Great app though! Excellent teaser and great plants for beginners

I purchased the full version first. I saw some comments about issues with the Lite version, so I loaded it to test it. It works just fine on all of my devices. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend purchasing the full version. It runs great on all of my devices AND now the pix are saved to the SD card so they're immediately available all the time! The Lite version looks like a sample. Trust me, if you want a readily accessible, easy to understand app on wild plants, then purchase the "full" version now! You'll spend more on your morning coffee than this app that can benefit you anywhere, anytime, for a lifetime....or until you drain your battery. LOL

The paid version has a lot more plants. This is a must for every chef, hiker and restauranteur!

H70%
by H####:

Common names often do not match the Latin names: dandelion isn't ribes; it's taraxacum; Asiatic dayflower is not taraxacum; Daylilies are hemerocallis, not commelina; epazote is paired with the formal name for elderberries; there are others. This could be dangerous to anyone who doesn't know about edible plants. It needs some serious editing, lest a reader mistake cicuta maculata for cow parsnip

Has locations for most of US but is missing the southeast. I don't know if the full version has it.

I understand this is just the lite version but a couple of southwest plants would be nice. Im from oklahoma.

This app is even better after actually going on a hike with Wildman. Having seen some of these plants up close was really helpful. I'm definitely going to get the full version

I'm am disappointed when you read the description its hard to read the writing over the photos of the plants....perhaps having it open in a other page so one can read the descriptions

It doesn't work on my phone, it goes to the main screen and then flashes. :( if you fix I'll give 5 stars..

C70%

Had original version and loved it. Just got the update and cannot read the white font because the contrast is so mild due to a light background. I literally cant see some of the words. If white font issue is fixed, this app would be awesome and I would buy the full app.

A70%

Was disappointed. I thought this app gave a lot more plant selection. I went to menu search doesn't work and when you click by region it only lists 5 or 6 plants and some less.

O70%
by O####:

Being the app is now offline, this is a good direction. The app is comprehensive with the detail to each plant, BUT, only 19 plants available!? I've encountered many more than just these 19 plants in a survival situation as a practicing survivalist. More plants need to be added.

Been looking for a field guide like this FOR 15+ YEARS! Hey!!! :D They FINALLY got rid of that awful, creepy guy tile icon! Would rate 10 more stars for that alone! XD This is a WELL thought out app. Even the free version! Bright color pictures for easy identification, Latin binomials, historic, nutritional, and medicinal uses all concisely laid out! ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ALL BOY SCOUTS, HUNTERS, HIKERS, PREPPERS, CAMPERS, MOUNTAIN BIKERS, SURVIVALISTS, MILITARY PERSONNEL, NATURALISTS, ORGANIC FOODIES.
