About WiFi Time Tracker

WiFi Time Tracker keeps track of how much time you spend at work by automatically keeping you punched in for as long as you are at your office.

With WiFi Time Tracker you’ll never again have to guesstimate how many hours and minutes you’ve worked when it’s time to fill in the time sheet. No more giving away time because you tend to round downward in favor for your clients or employer. You’ll be astonished how much time WiFi Time Tracker will give you. You can’t afford not to get WiFi Time Tracker! :)

How does it work?
WiFi Time Tracker support two different ways of automatically tracking time.

'First to Last' register the first and the last contact with a selected WiFi network. The time in between becomes the tracked time for that day.

'Automatic Absence' works almost the same way but with the difference that when a selected WiFi network is not in within range for a specified period of time that time will not be tracked.

Both tracking types support absence such as lunch breaks to be either automatically or manually added each day. If any absence is added the tracked time for that day is reduced by the amount of time of the absence.

It is possible to compensate for outside the office WiFi network detection by:
- Setting up a minimum WiFi signal strength required for automatic punch in.
- Adding a fault tolerance, called daily time deduction, which will be used to reduce the daily tracked time.

Seems i cant access old backups. They just show as if nothing has been tracked. If you cant see history (1year+), then I dont really see the point. Maybe the dev think people should export data each month, I instead made backup, with the option in the app. Mostly because i liked how it listed the data, but I guess you cant restore old data to watch it in the app. I was really happy until i figured this out. Even paid for the app.

Have had this for 3 weeks now. It's been great for keeping track of the 12 schools I work at. Would be useful if it could export - maybe to Google Docs? OK, so update to this. Lately this App has just stopped noticing the wifi networks at my schools, so quite a lot of time details lost. Not sure why, it had been working fine but seemed to stop logging around Sept 2016.

I tested many wifi time tracker apps, but most of them just stop tracking when they are in the background/closed. This app I sometimes don't open for weeks and still all the data is saved. Tiny Bug: entering 00:00 (midnight) as a starting time manually will cause the time not to display

Then after the latest two updates, it misses the nearby networks so you can't depend on it to punch in and out automatically. Had a good run with it, switching to Time Meter.

Pro(s): Works more or less Contras: 1. At some point stops working without any prior notifications. (The worst way to implement a trial period) 2. Causes problems with WiFiDirect 3. Could not set default lunch time.

Worked for a long while, now it has stopped even after fiddling with the settings, reinstalling, etc

This app is simply great. I have been testing for a while now, and it has preformed flawlessly. Nexus 6 marshmallow 6.0.1 Testing for another 30 days, after which I will happily upgrade if it continues to be rock solid. Thank you developer. Nice work.

It cannot count time properly! I installed it yesterday and it already shows that I've been connected to my home wi-fi for 25 hours (BULLSHIT!) plus to my office wi-fi for 9 hours, and it even doesn't count disconnected hours while I'm outside (for 5 hours)! Also it automatically turns on wi-fi receiver on the smartphone although I turn it off for a night. Release the app AFTER you check it works properly!!!

Only one thing missing and that is a config option if week should start on monday or Sunday... Makes it much easier when you can match the time reporting system... Also a mail function would be nice...

This app worked seamlessly for months, then one day I opened it up and all my data was lost, and I was prompted to purchase premium access (which I paid for long ago). I can't express how furious I am right now...

Would be interesting to know when was the last time we were connected to a specific wifi (=how long was i away from home?)

Tasker with a plugin does this better. Plugin is free. Why pay for this if you can pay for Tasker, and get sooo much more functionality?

Overall a rare find. Will give five stars once differentiation between bssid and ssid is added.

This app has exactly the functionality I'm looking for but crashes as soon as I open it on my Moto X. Will update my review if this problem is ever fixed. *Edit* Whoops, forgot to update my review. The problem was fixed and the app functions exactly as promised now. Really useful as a way to keep track of time spent on-site at clients' offices. Thanks!

I use this app to keep track of my hours at work. It takes a couple of days to try out different settings, but once you get everything set up, it works like a charm! You don't have to be signed into a network for it to track your time either, so if you don't have wifi, but someone else nearby does, you can just track their wifi instead. Export feature would be great. And my colleagues at work would like an iPhone app. ;)

I can recommend this app for time tracking. The UI is a bit spartan but it is easy enough to setup and see the results. It does not seem to drain the battery either.
