Snow Trails by RiderX

This used to be a great app a few years ago now I have to say it is mediocre the elimination of mileage between intersections was a step backwards also the text 4 Road names and city names is so small that you can barely read them especially with some of the background colors with these couple of fixes it would be a vast Improvement but I have to say thank you for Polaris this app is helpful and it's really hard to complain when it is free

Needs trail numbers though. I've never heard of these trail names & trail signs are all numbers not names. 5 stars if they had correct trail numbers.

This was my favorite app, now its just garbage. Put it back to the way it waa, one app, all north america.

Doesnt show all businesses. Was missing several gas stations. Kinda important. If we didn't already know that other gas stations were closer by, we would have driven WAY out of the way to get much needed fuel, some of us might not have made it. Also missing some cool easy restaurants. Other than that its good.

Since new update, all past points of interest issues have been resolved. Must have app for Michigan riders

Used it last weekend in upper MN. Worked great when in cell range, but often out of cell coverage. Nice speedo func. But who could mount phone on sled? Would be nice if you could find distanced from your location to destinations, parking, gas etc.

doesn't use official trail designatons, I.e. c4, c4a, etc. which makes it difficult to know which turns to make since all the trail signage uses numbers. The trails were accurate in my area.

Pretty useful in the Northwoods of WI. However some of the trails do not exist anymore, so I got turned around a few times. But overall a great app.

Riding trails around Baldwin/Cadillac MI in the Manistee National Forest can be daunting. You can get lost so quickly. This app could save your A$$. Recording where you're been, and just backtracking is great. You'll definitely need your sled setup to charge your phone though.

This App is fantastic. So much easier than paper maps and your can see your current location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Now it has snow depth, every bar, gas station, hotel.... Great app, great update!

NY maps are real close

My downloaded maps kept geting deleted with my planed rides.

This app has lots of places that no longer exist in MN and haven't for years. I would never trust this for fuel, food, or lodging.

Doesn't show snow depth like the previous version. Good job polaris nothing like down grading.

Im wondering if when you track your trip if it gives you your max speed and stuff like that cuz I can't seem to find it

The new version of this app only records your ride for a couple minutes then exits. The heads up display does not scroll... The old version worked so much better.

Since new update, maps no longer show gas stations, only food points of interest. Contacted support, they moved their points of interest services to Yelp, so anybody who does not subscribe to Yelp will not show up on Riderx maps. I am finding out a lot of corporate gas and food places do not subscribe.

Can't find snow depth function

App updated tonight and now it's worthless to me. The best feature was the snow cover model and the weather radar and now neither of those functions are available. Might as well remove the app. Perfect instance of fixing something that wasn't broken and now it's ruined!

Maps were just flat out wrong. Trails not accurately placed on map and missing many junction points. Totally useless on the trails.

This app is still good, but the lack of weather functions, most specifically snow depth maps, is a huge downgrade. I will revise my rating when snow maps return. I might search for an old APK to restore this function.

Can't plan rides anymore useless.

This app has never let me down or left me stranded. I also have the GPS Navigation feature on my '15 Switchback. Just trying to get the most out of the app and the trails! Keep up the good work Polaris!

All I wanted was snow depth, said it had it,doesn't have it????? Disappointing Polaris!!!

Lack of updated trails and the snow depth is lame. The app has regressed to the point of useless.

Michigan uses a number system for their snowmobile trails. If you added the numbers, I would give it 5 stars

After update can't even get into it. The ENTER button is hidden underneath the bottom of the screen.
