Remote Shot allows you to control your Phone's camera by using CASIO WSD-F10 / HUAWEI Watch / Fossil Q Founder / LG Watch Urbane / LG Watch Urbane2 / LG G Watch R / Smart Watch3 / ASUS Zen Watch even if your phone's screen is off!

How to start the app
2 ways to start the app.
Tap to Start
- Just tap on your wear's face.
- Scroll to the bottom and you can find the 'START' on the list view.
- Tap 'START' and scroll vertically a bit, you'll find 'REMOTE SHOT'
Voice command
say 'START REMOTE SHOT' and wake up.
Picture folder
Picture will be saved in phone's default 'Pictures' folder.
(please note 'Pictures' foder is inside internal storage.Not in the SDCard)
*Smartphone and LG G Watch R (Round-faced Android Wear Watch) must be paired before you use it.
To Android 6.0 (and higher) phone users.
If you use Android OS version 6.0(Marshmallow) and above.It brought a big new battery-saving feature called Doze mode.
Remote Shot may not remain connected unless the Remote Shot app is allowed to run in the background after Android 6.0.
Various information provider runs in the background on your phone and you can check the various information displayed on our watchface on your watch.
So please add your Remote Shot app to the list of not optimized apps by the following procedure.
Step1
Start 'Android Wear' app on your phone. You can see 'STAY CONNECTED' notice on the screen.Tap 'STAY CONNECTED' button.
Step2
Tap 'CONTINUE'
Step3
Tap 'YES' to ignore battery optimizations for 'Android Wear' app.
Step4
Tap 'Settings' on your phone.And Tap 'Battery' in the settings list.
Step5
Tap menu button on top-right.
Step6
Tap 'Battery optimization'
Step7
Tap 'Not optimized' and change it to 'All apps'.
Step8
Scroll down and you can find 'Remote Shot' in the list.
Step9
Tap 'Remote Shot' and select 'Don't optimize'
Step10
Tap 'DONE' to complete the setup.
To Sony's Xperia users
"Turn off" the STAMINA mode,when you want to take picture with screen-off mode.
(How to set:Setting>Power management>STAMINA mode)

The photos show that the screen is full with the camera image but in fact there are either black bars on the top or side depending on your orientation. wtf? emailed dev, I'll report back. what would also be nice is a button to force on the light.

I purchased because it specifically says you can turn off the shutter sound. I have a Huawei watch and the feature does not work. If this bug cannot be fixed let me know and I will request a refund.

Seems to work well with my LG G Watch R and Galaxy S5! I just snapped a few photos with it, wasn't a real test of its capabilities. One thing I would suggest for the developer is to allow the photos to be stored on an external memory card. Right now there are only Internal choices. I just noticed that the photos showed up on my G Watch R right side up... but were saved rotated to the left 90 degrees on my phone! What's up with that? Fix the rotation problem and allow photos to be stored on external memory and I'll change my rating to 5 stars. Especially for an app that has to be paid for!

Tried another generic wear app and was a bit buggy. Great to see one written for LG watches. Works well. One suggestion would be to have the whole screen used {without black strips top and bottom } for picture. My watch is LG urbane.

Great attempt dev but I paid for this and was in a position so I couldn't do the refund in time, but problems... It has tons. The picture on my g watch r is either upside down or side ways for the camera and it Definitely doesn't pull up like the picture shows. There's a free app for the g watch r and actually works. If things get fixed, I'll gladly re-rate.

Thanks first of all for making this app! I really love having all those options directly on my watch! I am running Android 4.4.2. On my phone and the newest 5.0.1 on my watch. I came across some bugs though: 1. when I choose to mute the shutter sound, it still makes the sound. 2. Once I take a picture I have to close the app on the watch right away, otherwise it keeps taking one picture after another every 2 seconds. If you could resolve those issues I would be ever so grateful ^~^ love your work so far!

Also have some tasker tasks for photos but this app gives some nice extras. Only downside is that the name of the app is different in the app list. Accidentally refunded it while removing my other camera app.

This should be an option, don't care if I'm missing some of the image wtf? emailed dev, no response. what would also be nice is a button to force on the light. No response. Don't waste your money. Try something else like PixtoCam, that does video and you can force the light on in that mode.
