MIDI File Player for Android
Really like this app, and just donated. Very quick and simple to use, and seems to do the job well. Hook up a USB midi keyboard (one with speakers), load up a midi version of your favourite song, turn off one of the tracks and play along! All the sound comes out through the keyboard's speakers and using the keyboard's own built in sounds. Request: If possible, could we have a global midi volume control on the main screen and/or channels screen. Also, some sort of simple metronome count-in would be very useful. Something like: click, click, click, click, track starts playing (without metronome). Thanks.
It doesn't play automatically though Auto Play setting has already been enabled
Edit: ok the 3 star reveiws evened out

My connection is like this : Yamaha PSR Keyboard ---> MIDI to USB ---> USB OTG ---> Android Phone. Hoping that when I play the midi file from Android, the midi signal outputted to the Yamaha PSR Keyboard as the tone generator. But it doesn't work. No sound from the keyboard. If I disconnect the USB OTG, then the music can be heard within the android phone tone generator. I've tried to go to setting and touch the "MIDI". It said "midi feature not found". I wonder what did I do wrong ? Thank you. Thank you for your explanation. My Android phone is Samsung J1 Ace (2017) with Lollipop. Is the compatible device Android Marshmallow ?
