It only took a minute to figure out the layout and figure out where all of the tools and setting up different options. Visuals would be nice to have but not a necessity, on the other hand I do like the light weight of the app. Also, appgratis code worked without any problems.

It's a great idea, but suffers from a lack of coding execution. Some chords don't play, as in, THEY HAVE NO SOUND.. It also gets mixed up, and will play differently in same session after changing a few items back and forth. -- There's no help whatsoever, so be prepared to get your pencil and paper out to record what each setting does and create your own help. Some functions are intuitive, most are not. When sequencing, the lack of a ubiquitous play button means that you go back and forth a lot to hear what you've just done, making the process slow, cumbersome and tedious. Not to mention this contributes to the app getting mixed up while you use it. --There is something that will allow you to create a custom chord. It has notes and colors and musical terms but good luck understanding it! If you know your Circle of Fifths, and you're pretty strong on music theory, you should be able to figure it out. I'm not, so it's not much help to me. Also, and maybe I did this wrong, but when I tried to create a custom chord, it would only play one note, even though I had several highlighted. --This could be a really cool app. Right now, it's merely a good idea.

Playing a real guitar is easier than using this app.

I majored in music and I've used hardware and software sequencers, but this makes absolutely no sense to me. Where's the doc file that explains how this thing works?

When I went to change the tempo, it goes into a swing tempo feel.

Really people, you want something for free, then slam it because you can't work out how to make it free?!?! This is either someone's livelihood or a labor of love, which doesn't me you have to like it, but atleast review the actual app.

I learned two things. First, the appgratis code worked. Second, I'm no musician. But playing with the time signature and wacky chords is really fun, and the developer clearly listens to the customers. 5 stars for that alone.

Did not get the ad free version from appgratis. I downloaded it four times and still I have ad's. I was online to please help and I will give five stars.

I even copy and pasted appgratis and it still didn't work!

Why offer an "ad free" version or an "unlimited" version if your intent is NOT! Shame on you.

The app says code is unknown. Won't accept it so not ad free version.

I tried to use the promo code appgratis and it says unknown code. I have not tried the app as of yet. I will post update on app later

When I try to play a G7 chord it plays a single G.

First chord sometimes only plays root of the chord, I just substituted another hipper change-this seems to be a bug... Also the tempo interface is a little buried in the interface,...could not find it at first...would integrate into the page as a metronome marking. Overall, very handy!

I don't know why I can't read response from developers to my reviews, but I was reading other reviews and someone mentioned about the PHONES menu. My phone has a button for that on the bottom, not 3 dots. Of course when someone mentioned it, I thought "d'oh". Just checked it and wouldn't you know, there it was. It worked for me. The code worked. I was looking for settings within the app, lol. I sometimes forget, not all phones have a separate menu button on bottom. I'll try app later after kids are in bed.

Might there be a repeat flag/tag that signalled part of the sequence between 2 points to repeat for a specified number of times?

Trying to be a guitar player, I cannot go without help, and this app helps a lot.

Needs the ability to create custom chords not listed and also the ability to remove the drumming (I know that's probably in the app already but I just haven't found it if it is)

Cool concept. Promo code worked. Nice tool. Wanna fiddle around more to see if I can customize tempo and time signature. Would be great to list the individual notes in each chord. May be there already, just didn't see it yet. :)
