This does not work. You get lots of RF. Static. Feedback and little to zero amplification from your phones mic..what you do get is the adverts Amazon paid the developer to inbed into its stupid waste of time app. One star cos I couldn't give it none...and I'm being generous.....some other comments about it being OK.. Are you having a laugh or what. It's rubbish...

I can only describe this app as ear shattering, your warning was right it will cause hearing damage. We should be paid for have try it :(

If some one threatened your family and only way to stop them was to record you voice on this then I'm sorry for your loss

Voice sounds just get turned to static noise.

This is awesome, you can make a lot of variation of difference gain, volume, noise. Etc. Iam using in rooted Xiaomi Redmi 3 btw.

With a bluetooth speaker i would rate it a 10. Works like a charm! Just set the sound gain to 1.

Enter the AMPLIFIER. Click the speaker off (bottom, 2nd from left), slide the gain to desired level (top slider start at 15%), click the power on button(bottom, far left), then record button(bottom, far right) and record EVERYTHING in the room. Works perfect on my rooted ZTE Redbull x9180 using Mokee Android 5.1.1 After playing with any other settings, return to the above settings by clicking the counterclockwise arrow, bottom center. I love this app, thanks.

It took some playing around with but I figured it out! Maybe some instructions for how much you want to hear may help those that say it doesn't work? And another thing is that it would be awesome if you could decide between WAV and Mp3 and also if you could make it low or high quality. Also if you could like make the recordings with the option to share it(maybe it's there and I haven't figured it out). Just some suggestions to make it better but believe me this is already awesome as it is so thanks the app

Couldn't get it to record anything but static, to ' smart ' for me... was liking for a more '' active feed listener'' vs ' record and playback'' not the app to use if you want to hear whatever is around your stashed ''bug'' device

Needs a Dyson Compression setting for recording, Use ogg format set to 192kbs for 1/4 size recordings with NO noticeable frequency loss, Auto volume limiting to stop clipping. For those who said it doesn't work did you press the apps power button to turn it on / use the mike select switch in case your device has only 1 mike (front or back)

Cant send recording to friends or even share on face book so you can record all you want you just cant do any thing with the recording POINTLESS ADD BOMB APP i will be uninstalling this pointless app

But, there are many small problems you need to repair and it is not supported mp3..

Well I ise it for recording vocals on the fly and yes it is simple and amazing!!

Doesn't do anything! Just let you tap button the noise scanner doesn't pick up well at all.
