emmc check has stopped. My Note5 had a crashing problem. Sometimes it crashes automatically. To turn on I should press all buttons at a time. Then it works, again it restarts subsequently. To test memory I installed emmc check, however I am not able to open it. it says emmc check has stopped. please help me to figure it out.

Does not compatible with Android N (FC occurs when startup the apps), hope for further upgrade.

Was working great on S3 i9300 running Android 4.3 but is now crashing on the same phone running LineageOS 14.1 w/ ROOT (based on Android Nougat 7.1.2).

No way of telling if my S3 is affected because it crashes on start.

It says my chip is insane but I have not had any issue with my note 2 b4 even did not freeze my phone. Eyes wild open

So I guess... yay...? Still don't know why my s4 constantly overheats so easily & shuts down... Def not a pocket phone.. have to clip it exterior or goodbye.. shuts down...

My S III is dying every hour but this app telling me that I have a sane chip!!! So angry right now!!

Last S3 I had Died, this new S3 wont because I don't have the "Insane" Chip! YES!

NO, SANE chip..

Was able to detect the "Insane chip" in my S2, over two months before it finally gave up. Had plenty of time to back everything up. Insane chip finally failed and now the phone won't boot.

I'm sure the app must be OK, but I can't run it, because KNOX blocks it.

Those who have an insane chip. Get a custom kernel. Do NOT wipe data with stock recovery. You run the risk of making your device a paperweight

A friend's old Note 2 died with SDS after having constant problems.. That's how I found this app. Scanned using it because I have an S3 which apparently can have SDS (though I don't have any symptoms). Happy to know I have sane chip and the memory test passed.

Used this for my Galaxy S2 to check the emmc controller version

I checked out and passed, so I guess I can delete. But phone still crashes... Dunno

How can I send my phone to samsung to fix it while its rooted ? They will throw it in my face :p My S2 is excellent but what about people with insane chip ;), what they gonna do?

... Once a defect block is detected (=freeze) to skip that one in order to check the rest of the chip?

Not sure why samsung does not accept this as their manufacturing detect...
