Classy Fireplace

The music is nice, and so is the rain sound effects. But if the fireplace video doesn't work, that what good is it?! The video is locked up most of the time, even in the classic non-1080p mode!! Tried deleting it and reinstalling because I really wanted it to work, but it's not worth what I paid for it. And since I paid nothing, it's not even worth THAT! Nor is it even worth 1 star. UNINSTALL!!

trying to use on the sony google tv blu-ray player but immediatley crashes everytime. sometimes it crashes the sony box as well. really sucks as i would like to have a fireplace on my tv for a holiday party.

This is the best app like this that I've found so far. Just wondering what device you need to play the 1080p video. I get the bandwidth/device error when trying to play 1080p and it's definitely not a bandwidth issue (30mbps up/down over fibre).

who wouldnt want a fireplace on a huge plasma. it would be great but the 1080P freezes and the normal looks blurry. im sad it didnt work out as i would have loved. guess me and my babe will just have to be romatic with the blue screen playing our own music

I HAVE 100MB down and 10 up and this thing freezes every 10 seconds. speed test confirms my internet is okay, app is busted. GTV SONY

The app almost always freezes on launch, when it does open it freezes every 20 seconds or so. Also it should only enable the image's sound on startup rather than multiple sounds and music.

logitech revue - really want to love this app, but every scene freezes almost immediately after starting. it may or may not come back, only t freeze up again - as if my connection is too slow, which it is not. :( i hope a fix will be available quickly.

I searched chromcast apps and this came up but it doesnt work with chromecast. This is the same setup that was popular on reddit. I would really like it if it was fixed

ive got absolutely no problems running this on my galaxy s2. its so relaxing and great to fall asleep to. the x-structure is my favorite. its so hypnotic. had to go out and get the tymphony album cos of it. 10/10. if you cant get it to work... get a better phone/tablet :3

this is on a good web connection and freezes uo so you cant even enjoy it; its bad enough to make me say it totally sucks. was really wanting to enjoy the aquarium.

Ya not sure why it's rated low but It's a 4 at best, try it before you make the decision based on these reviews.

I know my revue can play 1080p because i always stream from my pc. Now why the heck is it stuttering on a looping video?! Needs more work.

Stalls every few seconds. Would be nice if it didn't. Music continues - picture just freezes. Logitech revue.

All very beautiful and well done, but why do you need an internet connection to use it? Also they take ages to load and crash all the time.

none of the 1080p scenes work... and the app somehow set itself as startup app; whereupon it turned on the tv in my absence and froze the screen with an error message. where is the uninstall button for this app?

Keeps freezing on my Logitech Revue Google TV unit. I run Honeycomb 3.1. Tried re-booting still not working. Please fix this app. I really like it!

Love the app! only downfall is my internet doesn't like 1080p feeds so they freeze. maybe an option to change the definition would be awesome! awesome app to have on TV though!

I have a very fast coonection on a fast wireless n router, yet the video still buffers and freezes quite a bit. not bad for a free app. Definitely woth 4 or 5 stars once the freezing is fixed

I have 5mb internet and the 1080p scenes freeze too much. Make this app larger and have all the scenes install on the system. also what about 720p options for those with slower internet?

Like the app a lot when it works ut locks up and force closes to much. My interet is 30mbps andhas trouble at ties.

Tried three videos and while the content looks nice .. it stops and starts every few seconds. Avoid until a gTv fix is out.

This app does not work. Very slow, freezes up all the time, takes slow to start.

Using the fireplace video and getting error 14. Like the idea but it needs to work consistently without errors or skipping.

This app would be amazing, but on Logitech Revue, the 1080p videos constanly freeze every few seconds.

I initially though this app was freezing on CPU usage or something else local, but it appears to stream the video from the internet. I have an excellent Business class internet connection which apparently is not enough to allow it to run without freezing every 10 seconds. If I am seeing this, it is going to affect a lot of users. I'd recommend playing back a local media file in a loop rather than streaming over the internet...hope this help. Don't waste your time with the present design as you will be embarrassed to show this to anyone.

Seems to have copied 100 MB data from my phone according datalogs. Just for showing a small movie? Uninstalled.

But I would like to have an HD option where its just the fire crackling lol cool tunes though.. Really like the water ones.

Ill use it when I want a tiny fire. No chromecast option; not sure why advertised as such.

Does not work on the Nexus 5 and that's too bad because it works great on the Sony Google TV. Five stars for that device.

I have a fast and reliable internet connection (10 Mbps downstream) and my GoogleTV is connected via ethernet, not wifi. The video portion regularly freezes but the sound continues. When it works, it looks great, but it freezes too much.

It works for a few seconds, then freezes (Revue TV) / then repeat. I'll uninstall and try again in a few weeks to see if it's been fixed.

using a google TV & the picture is frozen 90% of the time. Have a high speed wireless connection so should not be happening. Also, what is up with the rain & thunder sounds mixed in with the music??? Not what we want to hear when trying to enjoy the (extremely choppy) firescape. App sucks!

all of the scenes are great ideas, however the freezing up is a bit annoyong. I hope the developer can improve the buffering so that this prob;em can be avoided. great job though and we love all of the scenes! Louie

i only like the fireplace scene. I wish the aquarium was done without the people in the foreground. Sme scenes do freeze up but the fireplace doesnt, need an option so I can save my settings instead of always going on default fireplace with the jazz playing. good app, cant beat free!
