UNF Pathfinder

The UNF Pathfinder application was developed as an artificial intelligence group project. Designed to help students, parents, and members of the public quickly find their way on campus, the UNF Pathfinder application utilizes a comprehensive map of the University of North Florida campus and over 500 unique data points to help people get where they are going.

Easily and intuitively find where you want to go by typing your destination in the search menu. The application recognizes nearly any name you could use to refer to a building on campus. You can manually enter your destination or allow the application to use GPS to find the closest starting data point near you.

The optimal path to your destination is generated in less than a second and includes the total distance that will be traveled and the estimated walking time. You can easily follow the on screen path by enabling GPS allowing your current position to be populated on the application.
