Sign language for beginners

It only has the alphabet. They are also asking for $1 to remove ads on an app that only has a few pictures they probably took from the internet. Cash grab app and not helpful at all.

Really boring. I thought that i would learn words not just the alphabet! I already know the alphabet

As the title so greatly explains, "Sign language for *BEGINNERS*" is just that. It is perfectly that, and exactly where EVERYONE, deaf or hearing needs to start. EVERYONE STARTS WITH THE ALPHABET!! Sorry, I read so many ignorant ass reviews from people that misspelled, used the wrong punctuation, and were too lazy to fix their mistakes, all while complaining about the app only being letters. All of that information was available if only they clicked on "read more" or just read the damn title. I need to find a new planet because this is who will be running the world soon. We are totally f***ed! The app is perfect! Im down to 60% left in only my left ear and 0% in my right. I needed this app. Im 42, and soon, I will never hear my girls sing, husband play his music, or grandson's laughter. They are all taking sign language for me. This app is great!!*UPDATE* IN 10 MINUTES TIME, 10 MINUTES PEOPLE, I LEARNED HOW TO SIGN THE ALPHABET. UNDERSTAND I HAVE AN EIDETIC MEMORY, BUT NONETHELESS.

It's a good app to learn the alphabet for finger spelling but not for learning actual signs.. very upsetting.

Just what I needed. I started working with a client who only signs letters. This is all I needed. I am glad that I found this app.

I think its a good app Cuz my dads girl friends sister is deaf and this is how I learned to communicate with her

I was looking for an app to help me learn the alphabet. Other apps made it complicated or offered approaches to learning that weren't as useful for me personally as the flash card quizzes. This app helped me to learn quickly and I think it could be improved by adding new sections that provide the same approach to learning common words. Other apps combined alphabet with words too soon or offered techniques to learning that weren't compatible with my needs.

There's a lot more to ASL than the alphabet. If your intention is to only teach the alphabet, then don't claim you teach ASL. Say that you teach fingerspelling, because that's all you have here.
