Mindjet Maps for Android for Android
I enjoy this app. Makes mind mapping easy and the app is easy to use. One problem I have encountered lately is if you clear the devices cache all your maps are deleted. I made a separate directory and this was deleted as well. I have lost about one year's worth of maps that I cannot get back. This is poor design, allow the program/user to put maps in a safe place that will not be affected by a cache wipe.
This is a fantastic app with great potential. The saving on this app is TERRIBLE. There's no SAVE option, so it doesn't save unless you hit the "back" button to exit. You'll lose a ton of work if you multitask to other apps or use the Home button. Plus, it looks better on iPad and can even eMail maps to other people; but Android lacks this extremely useful feature. You don't have to be innovative to add a save or eMail option.
Completely impossible to use this app with maps developed with desktop version of Mindmanager. The lack of a credible interface for mobile devices is a real reason to ditch Mind manager in favour of an alternative
Don't make the mistake of thinking this tool is still valid. I had swapped to this since having a problem with the latest SimpleMind (which I relied on). Was really starting to like MindJet, then discovered that it's been discontinued and there's no longer a cloud sync / backup facility. Defunct. Real shame for what was a good tool.
This is a great app for mind mapping. It is easy to use and provides a lot of functionality for mapping ideas and planning. These days there are a lot of random crashes that is wasting a lot of my time. Every time I have to do all the work over again, since the map only seems to save when you exit. Another frustrating thing is that even if you exit and enter a map again, some changes are not saved, for example removing a note gives a warning that it's in a format that might break if edited on Android, even though it was created on Android, and removing the note does not save the change.
Infuriating - I have a ton of maps from previous phone and desktop versions of Mind Manager, and there is no option to browse to them. It is UNACCEPTABLE to orphan previous loyal users, and why I have stopped upgrading the desktop version.
The formatting does not sync well between the phone and computer. This is a huge deficiency. Otherwise it would be 5 stars because it has many cool ideas and jaw been well thought out for mobile use.
Desktop MindManager is crucial to my work and addictively great. We need a similar mobile app to take the officework on the go. Will happily pay for it or include it in the DT license. This app? Useless
I have the full MindManager which is excellent, and this could be a useful way of starting a map while on the move. But, like other users, I'm disappointed about the lack of positive saving (on an S3) and which be erratic. Just spent two hours adding notes and lost them after switching applications after which all the notes were lost (except oddly one). It is not worth using until this problem is sorted out. Any advice, Mindjet, would be welcome. Please advise when it is ok - I want to use it, but....
If you're used to the wonderful desktop program, don't bother with this app. It's very buggy and most of the best features are absent. A huge disappointment.
It's is not saving on the go...This is the worst thing.... Hour of work disappeared... Let me ask you why you do this ???? Where is cash or .Temp file ???? Saving is essential must save at least each minute...
I don't understand the lack of support for google drive or a local network drive. || Never mind. It won't save to the device either. Requires an account. They're going to ignore the Google Drive request. Users have been asking for it for the past four years. It's not free.
One of the few Apps worthy of donations for supporting the Developer. Very impressed so far, no ads and full featured. Would be cool to have more options for inserting PDF, links, and non-common file types.
Now that this app can again be used to view mind maps created on the PC without having to buy an online subscription, this does the job (and so I restore the stars for it :-).
It's an amazing app . But one think I would suggest it and I wish it to be there on the next update. That is the ability of adding more than one photo from gallery not only from camera , I mean from my saved photos. But overall it's really great app. Thank you so much.
Can't access mind maps I created that are saved in the cloud. I can get to them from my browser, but not the app. Not sure if this is a "feature" or a real bug. Either way, it's frustrating!!!
The UX is not good at all. The left panel..Not for mobile. Edit boxes..are too agly. But I like desktop v.
This is the best app I found for mind mapping when using lots of images. It keeps the image is original quality rather than reducing to quality like many other similar apps do. However the saving function is so not good. It has lots of bugs where it does not get saved and there is no any button to save your work. Please correct this. Then I'll give 5 stars
This is a competent mind mapping tool that offers most of what I want. Along with the Drive Sync tool (to sync my mind map folder with my Google Drive), this has become my go-to tool for mind mapping on the road. I particularly love the user-defineble keyboard shortcuts. That said, here's my wish list: * A paid version to support new features. Please let me pay for this program. It's too useful to allow to wither and die. * Full integration with Google services including Drive and Calendar. * Support for FreePlane node details. * Support for rich text everywhere FreeMind/FreePlane do.
Great app ,very usfeul , congratulation ! Two question about : 1/ When I import file from xmind to my android app , the good news : It open perfectly , bad ones : I didn't find how to save it. 2/ Why I can't creat folder (the 'New Folder' option is greyed out)

This app can view *.xmind, it's great! But it crashes *.xmind files after viewing them. That's so bad! If the problem can be solved, then this app will be a great one!
I'm using Samsung galaxy Note 10.1 , and also I have licence for Mind manager windows version. I'm upset that this program do not Open my files at tablet , even if it was created at that tablet . When language setting is Turkish. only I can open files when my tablet language setting is English. Also pictures can not be seen if file re-opens . As a user that use Windows version for years , I would like , this language (Turkish) problem , to be solved as soon as possible.
The app works well and does deserve five stars. but i would like to know why up to only 6 or 7 subtopic can i create then the saved file wont open any more, effectively rendering the map unacessible. Would like to hear from you guys. awsome work by the way.
When I opened a map after importing it from my laptop . the pictures didn't appear in the notes . Is there any solution for this ?
Your cloud storage doesn't work. I consistently lose changes between devices. You've done nothing to improve the diagrams since you took over.
This is a good and fully functional app for mind maps. But when you open and make a change in an xmind file, the xmind file gets corrupted and will not open again until you 1) open it on your desktop and 2) save a change on your desk top. This bug was reported months ago and acknowledged but never corrected.
But why can't I drag subtopic, wish the subtopic not made fixed in term positioning
The application has great functionality. The best feature in my opinion is integration of xMind and Freemind maps. The UI could be little better. Panel icons could be smaller on smaller screens.
Force closes after update. Samsung galaxy note 2
I've had this for a long time on my Galaxy S4 as well as my Nexus 7 and it has never once started. Every time I try to open the app it directly crashes. I had forgotten about it until today while I was uninstalling unused apps. I'm just finished with it.
Thinking Space was amazing. MindJet is not as good, costs more, and is to blame for my paid version of Thinking Space no longer working.
Your cloud storage doesn't work.
started good but it keeps getting worse with each update......update suppose to improve not turn the app into usless crap!
Come on Mind Manager! You need to update this app and make it as close to the Windows version as possibke! The competition is way ahead of you here!
I like that I can use the Chrome browser app on my PC and have it sync to my phone app.
Loved it. Then it wouldn't allow me to open my files, after I have spent hours working on them. All that work down the drain. How can I fix this, since I love the app. It is the best out there.
This is really bad! logged in with this email and my password for my email but it says invalid and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this app. :(
Was quite disappointed by the way u had killed the app..... Glad u came back to ur senses and got it back to its old beautiful self. Thank you as it is such a great app. The best of its kind.

This may have been a useful tool years ago, but it has failed to keep up with times. The user interface is clumsy and not suitable for touch screens. There is no integration with physical keyboards either. And it doesn't support cloud syncing, so you can't work across multiple devices; the supposedly available Box integration fails with a force close. There are much better alternatives out there.
