Awesome Speed Reader

For some reason its only opening pdfs when I try to open an epub it tells me that only text pdf and epubs are allowed. I like the aesthetic and overall design and would like to use this on the rest of my library.

When I have it set to 1 word, it blazes nicely. As soon as I set it to 2 or more words, or increase the lines to 2 or more, or any combination other than 1 word, it stutters and hesitates every few words. This is at 3000 wpm. I can read significantly faster when I use an app to run through the text at 2-3 lines in chunks of words, so when this app stutters it is a struggle. In comparison, the Spreeder app on the iPad can do 5000 max (I believe) and is fantastic and smooth at any combination.

I'll come back to this app when it has punctuation and end line delays. Else it worked pretty good

It reads only one page??? 5* if it can continue reading next pages.

So far very happy. The only speed reader that allows you to open pdf files without buying anything, registering or whatever. Simple, works, like it.

I really could like this app. It seems to be exactly what im looking for in speed reading app but im having problems with the size expanding and shrinking depending on the amount of words being displayed which seems random even when I specify I only want one line and one word and 100wpm. I must be doing something wrong but even with these low settings it prints full sentences and reads them way to fast to be able to read. Please help me better understand?

I didn't like it. It needs a lot of improvement. The poor interface, everything looks dull and uninteresting. It misspells the words too.. But as it is free, you can not criticize developers.

Please enable forward backward button on the full screen while reading by swiping the screen. The way it is now it's so difficult use cause whenever i use it i accidentally touch the progress bar and reading goes elsewhere.

Ui is flexible and easy to set up exactly how you like. Two problems though: One: the progress bar should not respond to touch. In my experience it's almost always hit by accident, and then so vague it takes ages to find the actual reading progress again. At the very least it should have a confirmation "do you really want to jump much further through the book?" Two : long "words" are not handled well. Some books have several words hyphenated together. At the same speed as any other word unreadable.

I wish there's a setting for showing longer words a little bit longer. It would also be better if whenever the sentence ends, there should not be words from the next sentence next to the ending.

I like this app. It's one of the only ones I can find that allow you to change the Chuck sizes. However, it would become a great app if you could paste websites or links. Also, you need to be able to navigate through long books. It needs either a table of contents and/or a way to search.

Looked like a great app, but all my simple PDF files just said unknown error and never opened anything. 2* until they fix that.

It's great, and free. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try this first. I donated because I like it so much. However could you tell me if there's a way to access books by chapters to maybe skip around if I need to?

Simple to use. Has all the features you'd need and opens a wide range of formats. What's not to like?

This is by far the best speed reader out there! Supports PDF, easy to locate my position in text... simply awesome!!

This app is one of the most full-featured ones out there, 5 stars out of 5 on that front. However, the font cannot be changed and as it stands it appears as a bold font which I find very distracting. Even if I choose a smaller font size the problem remains.

The app needs a little more work like being able to go to specific chapter and section. Other than this, it is the best one on the market, believe me i have tried most of them and this one stands out as the best!!!!!!

Awesome but when i try opening EPUB files...it cant...the message says it can only open txt pdf and EPUB files..hope u can look into it..Thanks for the lovely app

If you are slow in reading your text books then app will suit you best
