About Tenniswatch
Android wear app for tracking your stats while you play your tennis match. For every point in the match user has to press two buttons providing two pieces of information using his Android wear smartwatch -> serve info and point end info. In between service games user also has to change the server. This information, together with some reasonable assumptions is then used to calculate complete stats of the match. Stats can be observed in the mobile app after syncing data from the smartwatch.
In the future Tenniswatch app should also become capable for auto shot type detection (forehand,backhand...). Users should also be able to create online accounts for keeping match history with access to different data visualizations, player comparisons and trend analysis.
User manual:
SCREEN 1:Config

Watch app screens are always active (battery usage is increased) so that you can enter serve info in shortest time possible, in real time, in between the points. Before going to court make sure you have more than enough battery on your smartwatch.

This has potential to be a great app, however there are some issues that need to be worked out first. On the Polar m600, the lower text in each of the four quadrants is cut off. For example, the upper left should read, "NEW POINT". The word "POINT" is below the word "NEW", however the bottom half of "POINT" is cut off. Not a really big deal once you get used to where everything is, but still this should be corrected. Also, the font should be bigger. There's room for the lower text to be the same size as the upper text in each quadrant. The biggest issue I have with the app is there's no way to see the current score. When you hit an ace or a double fault you tap the ace/dbl fault box and the screen doesn't change because the point is over, however there's no way to know that your tap was registered. I suggest adding the ability to swipe down from the top to see the current score and to have the current score displayed for a couple of seconds after each point. Also, you should be able to undo an action in case you pressed the wrong box. This is a good first effort and I will be happy to change my rating to 5 stars once some improvements have been made.
