الجمعية العمانية للمكتبات هي جمعية أهلية تأسست بموجب القرار الوزاري رقم 2007/. وتتمثل رسالة الجمعية في العمل المتواصل على خدمة مهنة المكتبات والمعلومات وخدمة المهنيين في المجال. تتمتع الجمعية بالشخصية الإعتبارية ويكون نطاق عملها في جميع محافظات السلطنة، ومركز إدارتها في محافظة مسقط. هذا التطبيق سويف يشمل على عدة معلومات وخدمات توفرها الجمعية وهي كالاتي:
