LISA - Arduino Home Automation

We as human beings have always tried to make life on Earth easier and more comfortable. Our design of the Home Automation System is also a small step towards making life easier.
The basic principle behind this is to control the electric circuit with one’s smartphone and hence controlling the devices connected to the circuit.
We use an Arduino Uno Rev3 development board which has an ATmega328P microcontroller embedded into it. It is a programmable board to which a programmer can easily feed some code and run it instantly. The flow of current is controlled in this system by this microcontroller.
We also use a HC-05 bluetooth module to receive the binary signals sent from the smartphone running the companion app to the microcontroller.
The app has on-screen button controls as well as voice control. When any activity takes place on the app, the signals are sent to the controller via Bluetooth and hence controlling different devices.
The app can also control a smart LED light which can glow in the color as chosen by the user accordingly.
