*Important note 1: When the driver's status is set to ON or Busy, TaxiTapp Driver app uses always-on background location service. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. It is advised to have an external power source (e.g. charger, battery pack) available in case of long continuous usage of the app.

**Important note 2: Creating a driver account to use with TaxiTapp Driver is only possible/allowed from the dispatch system at www.fleet.taxitapp.net. You need to ask your dispatcher/manager/company owner to create it for you.

- Ride booking flow was simplified and accelerated by eliminating extra steps. Now when a passenger requests a ride, nearest Driver can take the job and thus book a ride or he can ignore it (in which case the request is sent to all other drivers in the area). Therefore, whole process of requesting and booking a ride now can take as little as 5 seconds.
- Maximum time allotted for a ride request was changed to 30 seconds. Driver has 30 seconds to review and accept a job or ignore it.
- Add Surcharges interface was added to ease the addition of extra fees at the end of the ride.
- Mobile Credit Card processing was added via PayPal Here card reader integration.
- Rides with billable payment option were added. If the ride was dispatched for a Corporate account, then passenger doesn't pay at the end of the ride but rather charges it to their account.
- Choose a Car. Before starting a shift, Driver chooses from the pre-assigned pool which vehicle they will be using during that shift.
