LDS Hymns

I currently prefer this to the churches because you can view it full screen, and ALL the hymns appear.

Best hymn app

I understand why it takes do long but it's still annoying. I'm personally glad that the copyrighted hymns are shown, it's the only one that does that I've found which makes conducting much easier one handed when I don't have to use a book for some of the songs. (we don't have a music stand in relief society) The fact that it requires an external pdf viewer is a little annoying but after initial default settings, it's not terrible.

Best hymns app so far. Data on SD card. Fits screen. Easy to use and read. Use ezPDF Reader or Aldiko to display the PDFs for the best experience.

I couldn't install it on my Samsung Note Pro tablet: After downloading 140% of the app, the download started over. Uninstalling.

No copyright blockage and the search is essential

Downloads pdf for all hymns. If I open a file from my pdf reader I have to scroll through all of them. Has copyrighted songs it shouldn't.

I hated this app I got it for my nook hd plus and it down loaded every song as a different app and the songs down loaded won't go away I wouldent recomend it.

Solid app for LDS Church hymns. It would be nice to be able to play the hymns like on the LDS website. That may be beyond the scope of the program though.

I have tried at least half a dozen, maybe even ten LDS Hymn apps. And my criteria are pretty simple. I'm not looking for an LDS Hymn app that will tell me every bit of information about every song. I totally understand if you want or need that... So then this is not the app you need. What I AM looking for is an LDS Hymns app that: 1) I can open quickly and immediately be in a search screen 2) I can enter a hymn number, have it auto-search, and in one click I'm looking at the music 3) I can enter a hymn title (or commonly-used first line reference phrase), have it auto-search, and in one click I'm looking at the music 4) It must use the WHOLE screen, display it in landscape mode (as portrait sheet music is too small to read on EVERY phone out there), and display brightly & clearly. No stupid toolbars at the top or bottom, and no ads, and no cute borders. This app is everything I just described above. I'd definitely pay for this app if he charged. It's the best. ONE suggestion: Make it even faster & more convenient by automatically launching the keyboard when app is launched so can start entering & auto-searching immediately. THANKS!!!!

Might be good on a tablet, but songs don't load well on my android.

App works great. Be careful though. You have copyrighted hymns included in the app. You may want to remove them before the app is taken down.

Absolutely great! I just hope that this app can be movable to save in SD card

But PDF files don't always auto resize to full handheld resolution. On starting up app today it started a new download without asking for permission. This took a long time and then repeatedly failed over issues with the PDF files. Finally uninstalled in frustration.

Great app! Just make sure you have permission to distribute all the hymns; I'd hate to see this taken down.

Great app. Thank you. I greatly prefer android but have a work-provided iPad 3. The LDS music app on iPad made me usually pick the iPad for church. No longer and that makes me happy. Also check out the children's music app linked in the description. Great resource for primary teachers.

On small screens you have to scroll up and down a lot, should not have to reload every time the screen moves.

Download was excruciating even in wifi, but worth it, most complete version I've seen
