HTML Editor

It says it's an editor, but if I try to open a file it gives me a message that I can load files but I can't change them. What's the point?

I like this app very much, but I couldn't disable the auto save feature so I entered 0. The app hanged after that. So the next time I start it, it hangs and closes. So please try to detect for entering 0 and next time it starts, try to detect again. Anyways, I am a beginner in Android development. But I am good in VB. Please fix it as soon as possible. This app has a great collection of useful elements, but is lacking in a couple of areas. To start with, whenever I open it, I get the auto save message. This is not helpful, so please consider removing it and only allow for manual saves, unless user specifically requests auto save. Secondly, the ads, they are full screen and more often than I get to type a few lines, so please, consider showing the ads either on load, or on exit, either would be fine. That's enough complaining from me, now for my tips. 1) For starters, I do a lot of hard coding with HTML5, and would love it if the app did not remove my *DOCTYPE* tags when I write them. 2) The default *html* tag would be better with something like *html lang = "en"*, for HTML5 users. 3) The default *meta tag*, it only really needs the 'charset' attribute, the rest is just to pretty things up and add more code than is needed. 4) One last tip, on my device, all the default template tags are on the same line, can you fix that too? If you can fix the problems, and pop in a few of those tips I mentioned, this app will get 5 stars, and I will consider purchasing the full version. Until then, I'm afraid 3 stars is all I can do.

It might sound silly but I actually wanted this to use the line break button, which might be the only feature missing or not working for some reason. I leave more complicated for my editor on the pc. I've solved my issue putting the command as a word of keyboard dictionary.

I was unable to save an existing HTML file to PDF. This is my only requirement of the app.

I own a small phone, and texting take about half the screen, so it is very hard for me to see the code

I've been looking for a way to code on my tablet for months, this looked like a good solution, and though I found the interface a little hard to adjust to I think it could prove quite good if I got used to using it. Unfortunately I will never get a chance to get used to it. I can't stand apps that insert themselves in my notifications for no reason other then to promote themselfs and this does that frequently. That alone kept me from considering the paid version which is a shame because my other complaint, ads that take over the screen while I'm using an application drive me nuts. I understand that the free version needs ads, and that I can just pay to remove them, I just wish they weren't so in your face. It makes it hard to really evaluate a product when my flow is being interupted by ads.

Between the ads which pop upon their own on a timer or something, and the "tools" there is a space 1/2" by 1/2" left to work in.

desperately needs to save to a sane and possible starting location, instead of the root of the device - which it has no permission to write to. Also, needs option to automatically close tags. so if I type: it has an option to close it and place the cursor between the tags. ie | Has promise... I may buy when he fixes save.

Sucks like heck. Don't waste your time

No caret; can't edit without it. PDF output is zero bytes in size. No settings dialog. Can't turn off auto save because of that. Other than that, this app is perfect.

Best app WITH A PREVIEW SCREEN to make html Web pages and a lot more by simply pressing on a button corresponding to the code you want. For example: if you want to add an image - just press on the button with the letter I. This app has many codes saved under a single click of a button for that code. And yes it does have the css inpute capability. Thank you for making this app.
