GPS Time for Android
hi. I am using a GPS via bluetooth and Mock Location. It does not manage to get the time to update. Any ideas? I would appreciate a lot if somebody knows
Can count on it. But if you combine it with the beautiful interface and alarm clock simular to "squarenotch" app (best of alarm clock apps), and I will count on this app in 100% not missing the appointments while changing time zones and Android messing up with automatic time sync. Would pay for it if it had alarms feature.
The app is really nice, but if I do a battery pull, the phone resets time to Jan 5, 1980, after running this app, it finds satellites and finds the Date and Time but it refuses to sync with error "The Time Difference is too large" if this problem is fixed I will give 5 stars. Otherwise great simple app. No need to keep running in background sucking up battery power. Could be given as an option for those who do want it. Thank you for your app.
Add option to Auto Start and Sync Time...
Just root??

So, the "time difference" is actually the time the satellite's GPS signal takes to reach my phone?
Not working on Marshmallow.
Immediately crashes.

Used to work
This app used to work on my tablet, but trying 0.6.3 it appears to only request Super User only after it attempts to sync. The app should request SU once, at app start, and keep it. There is a delay between an app requesting root and actually getting it, that needs to be taken into consideration. Please let me know when fixed. Android 4.4.3 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 P600 WiFi Only.
Brilliant app. Could it please display full device time (with seconds) before asking to turn gps on?
Please make GPS time digit larger.

Love this application.
Works :D
very good

There WILL be time.
Great for Tablets and Devices that you don't want to connect to a network.
Consistently reports time that is two seconds behind UTC. Seems odd.
Need rooted phone.
Does what it says on the tin
There's always a 0.3s time difference left, but it's more than acceptable - a simple and working app overall :)
Good but- slow lock, no number of satellites displayed while waiting for a lock (is it working?), and cannot use phone for anything else while waiting
Does a nice job Always updates my phone to within 3-4 secs of the GPS satellites. We live in the mountains and coverage is spotty - this helps keep me on time.
Can't read time from GPS satellites. See 7 satellites. (LG P500 Optimus One)
Basic but good, much more accurate than Internet time apps. Nexus One
Appears to show a time 3 to 4 minutes slow
Works very well but needs an automatic sync to be really useful
Worked great on my Droid 2 Global!
Shows about 12 secs off from the naval observatory phone number
Awesome. Galaxy tab.
It is not accurate. It is 20 seconds off..
I'm using this app because the time provided by my phone company is often 15-20mins out. It's simple and very useful but would be even better if it worked automatically, for example synching the time once per day (if the phone can see any satellites).
Earlier version was buggy but this one works well. Thanks.
Does this app allow for the 15-second synchronization adjustments since the 1980s to the standard GPS time?
