About FX-602P scientific calculator

FX-602P Simulator is a very precise simulation of the classic FX-602P programmable calculator and and all it's accessories. This simulation is not a toy but but a full features simulations of almost functionality of the original calculator and it can be used as a full featured and fully programmable scientific calculator.

Used as a calculator the FX-602P simulator will exceed most other calculator available. The FX-602P simulator supports all arithmetic, trigonometric, logarithmic, hyperbolic, statistical functions and all alphanumeric display options of the original calculator.

And last not least the FX-602P simulator is fully programmable. You can write up to 10 programs, using 110 registers.

With the build in FA-2 cassette interface simulation you can save and load programs and data to your thump drive for later use. Or printout results with the FP-10 thermal printer simulation and then copy / paste them to other applications.

Do visit our FX-602P website or blog where you can download the original Manual of the Calculator. Remember that the Market-Comments have no answer function and I can't help you if you post there.

Sold mine this year. This is a fine replacement. Great idea.

I had forgotten what a work of art the 602P is, but it's rushing back playing with this remarkable app. Job well done, Martin, thank you.

I had an FX602p and this app isn't anything like it. The UI is not at all photo realistic, very flat graphics. A big disappointment.

Keyboard very hard to read. Small font and low contrast. HELP doesn't work on LG G3

Y70%

Had this calculator a long time ago (1980). This emulator is absolutely wonderful. Upgrading to FX-603P just for the added "a b/c" function. TQ.

Z70%
by Z####:

I had the actual calculator for over 30 years until my office flooded. I used the iPhone app for a while and now have an android phone. After some confusion with saving programs, a quickly replied email from the developer got my existing programs ported over from the iPhone. A great app with fantastic support.

I've had the Fx-501p for over 30 years and it is in the process of giving up the ghost. This emulator for its successor was a welcome discovery and a good deal cheaper than the original.

I programmed a lot on FX-502P (1977-82), used a dozen great calculators on CASIO E-11 (1998), HP iPaq h2215 (2003), HTC HD2 (2009). On my current Galaxy S WiFi 4.00 (Android 2.3.6) I have 4-5. The $3.98 FX-602P emulator is elegant to watch, but keys are too unresponsive compared to RealCalc or handyCalc, the manual is PDF, posted in 2002 and never updated or improved since, made of blurry photos of the original, with pages 90°-left-toppled and ill-ordered; and the FX-602P, while a wonder in its era, is now dated (e.g. hybrid algebraic-RPN logic), programs aren't remembered until you find (good luck with the toppled blurred manual) how to make them stick. This unfinished product doesn't even deserve $3.98, and even free would get no significant audience until manual gets decent photos of the original, oriented and sorted right, in PDF (or better in HTML), and if possible until the emulator itself gets updated more in line with current standards of ease of use and general efficiency. Brilliant. Gone is the text above the display window so now the keypad has more space. Also there appears to be shorter lag between keying and entries appearing in display.
