Sudoku AR Solver

This app has very good image recognition, even when the shot is poorly framed with bad lighting. But it fails at what it was designed for - solving the puzzle. Look at "world's hardest sudoku": in row 4 the 2 appears twice.

I was expecting the worst when downloading this, lots of reviews say it doesn't work, BUT if you make the puzzle fill the whole screen it works everytime.

"Could not recognize puzzle" seems to be all this app is able to do.

Image is flipped on Nexus 5X. Not compatible.

Just amazing!!

Only got it to work a couple times. Had way more trouble than the other apps I tried. Only works in landscape, not portrait, and there's no on-screen graphics that even give you a hint at what the image recognition is trying to decode (is it looking at the sudoku in the newspaper, or is it confused by the neighboring crossword puzzle in the picture?). No settings menu or anything.

This is just fabulous. It even works perfectly when there is some perspective distortion.

Great app. Recognizes the sudoku and solves it. You should add an option to reveal one cell only and not the entire puzzle. Anyway thanks.

Please try again. I believe that pretty much sums up all my experiences with this app. Not worth the single star I'm forced to give to even be able to rate it.

Doesn't always work first try. Pay attention to the lighting and how steady you're holding the device. Still not working, clean the lense. Once it picks up the puzzle, it's solved. Well done!

works great. Would be nice if it can analyse a picture u already have in ur phone, instead of only getting the input from camera
