Flash is a simple flashlight widget with no ads for your home or lock* screen. While turned on, Flash shows you a notification so that you can turn off your light no matter which screen you're on. Flash also shuts itself off after remaining on for 5 minutes to reduce risk of overheating or damaging your hardware.
If you're wondering why we need the permissions we do, here's why:
- Camera: Needed to actually use the LED flashlight.
- Keep the device awake: To let us automatically turn off the LED flashlight after a while.
* You must have Android 4.2+ to use flash on your lock screen
I'd like to note that this functionality isn't supported on all phones, so if it doesn't work, unfortunately, there isn't much I can do about it.

Need some improvements, it take time to operate, and when i locked my screen, it turn off and then turn on.. fix it please.. improve it in a way like samsung built in flashlight app and iphone etc

Brighter than and takes up so little real estate. The permissions are acceptable. Not an ad in sight. (Works on my Note3 as well using Nova, also its a widget and takes up an icon - nice.

Exactly what I was looking for. Stays on even when you lock the screen. You can use your phone to do other stuff without stopping the flashlight. Brilliant!!!

finally a flashlight for the lock screen. it even have the design i wished for:) ... also I'm on kit Kat. no idea why someone said it doesn't work. probably has a lame locked down phone model.
