SeaWi Marine for Android
Just used this sailing from Gibraltar to the Canaries. Works flawlessly. AIS alarms were brilliant, accurate and trustworthy. Most other ais apps I tried wouldn't work with the wifi multiplexer (shipmodule ) which is fed from a standard horizon ais/dsc radio I'll be using this across the Atlantic shortly. . 5 big stars to you guys and many thanks. UPDATE Used again across the Atlantic via the Cape Verde Islands and again it worked flawlessly. Great app. Thoroughly recommended
Can you add zoom buttons on the chart screen. Pinch and zoom on a bouncy boat can be a bit hit or miss. Also a night mode to use less backlight maybe. Otherwise really good app. Add the features requested and it is an easy 5 stars.
Works on my HTC and Samsung tab. All the data on one screen where it should be. Impressed with anchor watch and sms facility.
Unless you give this ap permission to make phone calls, it wont let you run the program.
When i initially downloaded the app and purchased a license I was very disappointed. The system didnt read NMEA2000 over wifi. Come to find out that there is not really a NMEA2K over wifi protocol, and that most devices translate the 2K to 0183. Once i got this, and with help from the developer (very quick response by the way) I got it set up with my Vesper. Looks really good
Works brilliantly with XB8000. Only drawback is that chart manager app needs repeated screen tapping to operate and moving around chart is fiddly on my Note 4. With Sony Tablet Z it is very effective and takes far less power than my Raymarine display so good for sailing.
It crashes every time I open the app. I've tried with nexus 5 and nexus 7 with same result.
After recent updates lost charts and crashes when attempt to download charts or report crash.
I downloaded this app this morning. I paid $3 for a caribbean chart from the in app purchase. After a download of several minutes I now have a "chart" that shows roads and NO marine info. No depth, nothing. Its not a chart. Why did they charge me money for "chart?"

Only cosmetic, useless.

Keep crashing.... Uninstall... Waste my time...

Bravo
Simulation mode only
good.
Looks very good so for, but I've only explored the basics. Charts are not much cop, but I knew that, and have others. Main reason for the purchase was the extensive alarms. As far as I know the only app with an AIS alarm. Now I can turn off my plotter when I turn in :) Works OK on my Nexus 7 (2012), but no SMS on this device. Could well install on my phone to get this. One bug? East position coordinate only displays on the split screen, with the chart. The field is empty on the full screen data display. A transducer offset entry would be helpful for those of us with a lump of metal below the sounder! All in all excellent and well worth the chart licence (£2 or £4) needed to enable the alarm features.

No program. Only sim ode
The "charts" you have to buy are not marine charts and are the same as free google or open source street maps. There is no marine nor bathymetric information. I am seeking my money back but no clear way to get a refund. Sadly, there is too much of this happening.

Opensea charts are free so why charge? No REAL charts available? Good for a is ais radar and instruments display.
