Often wondered where your loved ones are right now (family and friends - are they all safe and where they are supposed to be)? Often waited just a bit too long for your training partners to arrive for that evening training run (are they on the way, or did they forget)? The Loc8Loc8 app may be your needed personal assistant for these situations - and many more! Locate and track the whereabouts of everyone you know precisely and securely as you need it, and/or chat and communicate messages that concern and belong only in the chosen context.

Form as many groups as you need - consisting of contacts being individuals of your family or friends, of your training partners, of your travelling companions, or of your festival buddies. Completely private, group isolated and secure (all invited contacts must accept each group memberships, and can leave at any time). Groups of permanent or temporary nature. Groups that can be activated and deactivated ad hoc, on demand. As you need it.

Then locate the individuals of your groups - your contacts, your family, friends or other relations - easily and securely - via your phone's built in high precision GPS system. Or communicate and chat in your groups - among your contacts, your family, friends or other relations using built in, group isolated messaging.

Only contacts who also has the app installed - and who accepts the membership of your groups - can be activated (only way to know where they are for the system behind the app to work). So get them signed up as well, and start forming active groups!

Core features include:

- Using you phone's built in high precision GPS system (must be on), being able to locate everyone down to a few meters (if needed) or to a more coarse precision (up to you).

- Using contact book as a basis - no need to re-enter information, all contact information is used as is, including picture, email and phone information (for known contacts).

- Form groups as you need - create as many groups as you desire, permanent or temporary, toggle between your groups fast as you need them (easy navigation).

- Using standard maps - built on standard Google maps as you already know them, showing all individuals with the option to select individual for more info (detailing location history).

- Using secure messaging - communicate inside the groups and thereby isolate and secure the information as needed by the groups (easy and secure chatting).

Other features include:

- Location of phone is based on auto-starting service (boot service). Whenever phone is powered on, its location is visible immediately.

- Sensitivity and precision can be altered in settings. From a few meters to more coarse precision (saving bandwidth and battery power).

- Timing and update frequency can be altered in settings. From a few seconds to more infrequent updating (saving bandwidth and battery power).
