Of the three MQTT clients I've tried, this was the best - I mean, at least it connects with the protocol version mentioned in the standard. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to subscribe to more than one topic string (like # and $SYS/#), and when I tried the obvious thing (separate them by a newline) the program died and refuses to re-start.
