NFC - Tasker Launcher for Android
It won't let me use it
Dont install!!
Do what it says. Great app.
What does "please select [task] correctly? Is there an incorrect way to select a tag?
You guys say is supper week but i say is realy use full i use my pac-man amibo for geting on /roblox app and other stuff hay i think i can use it with skylanders :p
No documentation. I don't have time to guess at how it's supposed to work.
Useless. Tells me (tersely) to activate an option in Tasker that does not exist. "Preferences->MISC->Allow External Access".
Can't make it work.
Does not work with tasker.
Not working
I agree with another reviewer: this doesn't deserve 1 star, as it does indeed work. However, it's not well documented, and there's some gobbledegook when reading the tag. However with perseverance, it does the job and integrates nicely with tasker. I've wanted a solution that will launch my Satnav app (Waze) when I dock my phone with the NFC wireless charger in the car, and this does it nicely, which is convenient. That's pretty much the main use for it, and now it's set up, I don't need any other features from the app, simple (although not simple to use, admittedly), so I'd give this a 3-4 star rating.
Made me purchase Tasker, and even after that it can't find the application
Seriously, this app needs to be documented a lot better. The github readme just points to this google play listing. Really frustrating when the app/plugin doesn't work. Keeps saying "Please select [Task] properly". I have no idea if the app is broken or if I'm just not using the app correctly, as there is no help anywhere. Seriously, you've spent hours developing the app, why not spend five minutes writing a step-by-step tutorial. Doesn't have to be detailed or verbose, just something like: (1) Open app. (2) Press "+" to add your first task. (3) Select "Tasker", (4) Select your task in Tasker and input a suitable Name. (5a) Press "register" to do ????, or (5b) Press "Writ to Tag" [sic] to program your tag. Update: OK, from the other reviews I gathered that (1) This app doesn't work if tasks has space in the name, and (2) Tasker integration seems to be broken. Using a task with no spaces I was able to add a "NFC Task" - but after scanning NFC tag I just get a "broadcast error: Failed to execute broadcast Task"
Ted's statement is still true. You can see all tasks, but you can only select those that do not have a space in the name. Moreover, even when successfully selecting a task, when the tag is scanned, the software states "task does not exist ."
I installed Tasker, and NFC - Tasker Launcher. The integration doesn't seem to work as it says the task launch complate (complete?) but doesn't do anything. The task works ok when executing from the Tasker app.
Doesn't work on Note 3
App keeps force closing >.<
Why is this app free when I have to pay $3 for a separate app just to use this one? F***in' stupid.
How to fix it?
Integration broken
Not working
Everytime I place the nfc tag on the phone I get task launched complete but i also get an error: Failed to execute broadcast Task. Please fix it
you can see the tasks but you can't set them anymore [update:] I think you can set the tasks if the task doesn't have a space in the name. (ie: a single word)
Its a nice app dont get me wrong but why does this app do more than it needs to? All it needs to do is run Tasker tasks and not need it's own tasks. Having these options is superfluous and bloat.
Error during Tasker task selection after recent update. Been waiting for a long while now..
I know an app like this doesn't need a world class interface but it was hard to figure out how to get it to work with Tasker. Also, for Tasker integration to kind of work there can be no space in the name. I couldn't get the tasks to actually fire though.
Won't allow task selection.
I had problems connecting the NFC tasks to tasker tasks. At first only the message "Please select [Task] correctly". I solved it by giving task names without spaces. So I could create tasks in Tasker NFC and connect them to NFC tags. After that Tasker NFC send messages to Tasker, but after Tasker did not find the tasks Tasker NFC send to it. I gave up.
Trying to lauch the app, just stopped.
Error during Tasker task selection after recent update
As per the prior review, Tasker integration is broken. Can still what tasks have been defined in Tasker, but can't use them with an NFC tag.

Works well with tasker, a bit easier than other apps that's for sure. Maybe consider fixing spelling. Thanks!
Can't detect Tasker even if 'Preferences > MISC > Allow External Access' is checked. No FAQ, No valuable help.
Yes.. Loved this app... As this gives features to register tags.. Without rewriting them.... So 1 tag many uses (depends on devices).... Just faced little problem with Korea... But Google translated for words register and write...
It triggers tasks in tasker sure enough, but there are only two tags listed (in Vietnamese or something) and according to the "help" there is a tab to add tags or something. Need a lot of work...
Needs a lot of work.
This app isn't even worth the 1 star because it locked my rewritable NFC tag after writing it and burned my last one. Stupid, worthless waist of time and not worth the bother of downloading!
Learning curve involved. Still testing for suitability of use with Tasker+NFC. Portions of the UI are written in Korean, so most users will have no idea which button to click on! Plus, "View Developer's Website" link seems to have NOTHING whatsoever to do with this app!

Does not work with tasker.
