About SR Cables
Quick calculation of allowed cable load and loss in cable.
Calculates maximum allowed load with compensation for environment temperatures between 10 - 60 °C. Note that if exceediing 90% load on 25+ mm2 you should consult the cable manufactorers datasheets.
Calculates voltage drop with compensation for core temperatures between 0 - 70/90 °C.
Compensation for multiple circuits.
Indicates when voltage drop exceeds 3% (yellow) 4% (red) or when max load is exceeded.
Calulates Power loss in cable.

Based on IEC 364 Tables
Cable types according to IEC tables 52-C1/C2/C3/C4 and C9/C10/C11/C12:
"Copper/aluminium", "PVC 70° C / XLPE 90° C" and "2 wire" / 3-phase" with quick toogle between types.
Installation forms according IEC table 52-B1:
A1: Wires in conduit in isolated wall
A2: Cable in conduit in isolated wall
B1: Wires in conduit on wooden wall
B2: Cable in conduit on wooden wall
C: Cable on wooden wall
D: Cable in conduit in ground
E: Cable in free air
i.e normal installations excluding single wires in free air
Quick select of normal used voltages: 5, 12, 24, 48, 48, 60, 110, 230, 400 and 600 V
Quick select of normal cross sections: 0.75, 1, 1,5, 2,5, 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240 and 300 mm2
You can try the free version before you buy. It has the same functions, except installation type can not be changed, and no compensation for multiple circuits.
