3G Watchdog Pro - Data Usage

This app is the one and only best for keeping track of usage!! I have installed it over all of my devices since my s2 over 5 years ago and it's still the most accurate and useful app on all my devices

It's a very good app, but it's incompatible with Android O. It will crash and relaunch every 2-4 seconds, which will force you to uninstall it. So: Create a backup before upgrading!

Hi. How to set roaming data to count separete but also in overall quota? Example...I have 20GB of all data, but only 5GB can be used in roaming. Now I have a widget to count roaming, it shows 3GB but overall show only 1GB of data in home network. I would like to see 4GB of usage (home+roaming). How to set this, if it is even possible?

Nice app, but new permissions made me re-assess the overall permissions and privacy policy -- no thanks. Uninstalling and moving on to GlassWire.

Not working properly :-( Doesn't properly count Data consumed by hotspot client... after a while stopped counting... it recorded till 1.28gb and then stopped counting... This happened when I chose Android 6.0 way of counting... it has issue I think. For now I am trying to use non-Android 6.0 method and checking it it works fine...

It works great I am also using Galaxy Note 8 where you can run 2 instances of app if you update that feature it will be useful for dual sim card phone

Used too be accurate, since upgrading to Samsung S8 it has been reporting 20-30% less than actual. I emailed the dev with details and got no response.

prefer the look of free version all there in one place without having to select day/mth etc,can see what's what at a glance

What would make this app killer and standout is if it also had network speed indicators only thing not making this a 5* rating

Has everything I need. Bought because I have used the free version for years. Now I can select apps that don't count towards my billing data

Been using the app for many years and it was great, albeit handling sluggish at times. I recently swapped to a pixel and it's not counting my usage properly. It gets the app usage right but messes up the combined usage.

Love this app very accurate or it was until I changed my phone (Note8) mid month. Didn't back up data now billing cycle wrong and can't see how to change it. If you can resolve get 5*

Backup function is useless, only keeps last 2 hours ????why not a week or month.. And I can't set/change data usage anymore.

I like this app but it doesn't work anymore in Oreo I use to depend on the widget but it doesn't function either.......

Used to be very accurate. After installing on a new phone with Android 7 it is well out. Emailed support a couple of weeks ago but no response. Time to uninstall

Does an excellent job. Could do with a refresh in design though. It's been a while.

Still not working properly, notifications not showing @ start up, not updating info on main sections screen. Like this app was good saved me dollars, will work as usual soon.

Brilliant. Great for tracking data usage Ever wondered why you monthly data usage can often be excessive? There are apps that regularly connect with an outside source without your knowledge. Many of them are part of the Android base system. Why are they doing this? What data are they collecting and how do they use it? This app shows mobile data usage for any app for the current month. It can also show when the app made the connection.

Would like reason descriptions for all of the new permissions please, will update version (and star rating) once I know. Besides that, I've always liked this app, very nicely done.

Been using it for years. All it needs is tracking for shared data...Great developer who keeps on top of things and obviously cares about the user experience. Edit: still no support for shared plans. That is a must have so I have to drop you down to 3 stars. Can't use it without that.

You can no longer rely on 3G Watchdog. For some time now the app has been - seemingly randomly - changing usage, bringing it down or even showing negative numbers. The developer is not responding to emails.

used the free version for quite awhile but upgraded to the pro version. Glad I did, a must have! Developer is responsive if any issues.. update. Working again with the latest update

UPDATE, 2017-07-28: Hey! What's up with your counter?! It counts fine save for "mega" downloads?! I downloaded 2 paid games yesterday at over 0.5 & 1.1GB; the counter never showed them even after a manual refresh. However, my mobile's counter tool does. Not good! Running 7.0 on Samsung S7 edge.

No email support available sadly and ignored so be far **** App Appears good, But on checking the actual real data used. **** It is wrong. **** I have "Negative" numbers and random numbers in my usage. Sadly it doesn't seem coherent. **** I've sent details to the decompiler via Feedback within the App. **** I am awaiting some feedback. I'll update here when it is resolved. Hopefully it can be fixed then it'll be a great App.

Could you make the UI not so complicated? Divide settings into more meaningful sections? Make the whole thing correspond with material design of Android?

Mostly works okay but its SMS reports are incorrect (show zero usage). Otherwise would be four stars.

I sent an enquiry a while ago to the developer (via feedback with log) because my usage is not calculated correctly. However I don't get a response, so I'll probably will have to look for an alternative.

Have been using it for many years, simply awesome. I temporarily reduced to 4 stars, since on Oreo it wouldn't even start. Will be happy to send the crashdump, if needed. Once it works again, will def change it to 5 stars, it's indespensible.

Have tried all counting options,non work. When tapping the widget to open app, it does not open up properly. Top section is blank.

Since your new so called better update the calculations of your app sux! Say i used 5,8GB but i only have 5GB and when i chek my real data there is still 418 left. No way i can trust your app and you dont give a option to fine tune the usage! So if u dont fix it i must look for another reliable app!
