Why does dreamDroid now need the coarse location?
Answer: The location is ONLY used to calculate the current day/night cycle for automatic Theme switching. This is a google support library standard function. Your location will not be used for ANYTHING else. Check the source for details :).

Try VLC Player, MX Player or vPlayer from Android Market for streaming.
Make sure you have excellent WLAN receiption and the latest Firmware on your Dreambox for a more stable streaming experience.
Please refrain from taking the streaming functionality as a major criterion for the app-rating. Because of the absence of capable videoplayers I do simply have NO INFLUENCE on stability and/or quality of streaming! Everything that dreamDroid can do has been implemented properly, all remaining issues are >99% player-releated.

INTERESTING!! I'VE USED THIS APP A WHILE AGO AND THEN UNISTALLED IT.Ive factory re-stored my phone.After a while, I've installed this app back. And voila!! my ip address and port together with old password was pre-deffined in the setup automatically. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS APP,IT STORES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON REMOTE SERVER!YOU MIGHT BE UNAWARE WHO IS WATCHING YOUR STREAMS!!!

Great app but room for improvement. PVR controls show up and work on my tablet with Android v4.4.2 but they're missing on my phone with Android v5.1

Fantastic Application. If I could recommend a filter to remove the "N/A" channels under bouquets so they are not listed or shown. But by far the best App out there. Well done

I use this app for streaming and the streaming functionality is hidden away and not easy to use.. why is the option not available from within EPG?? I have to select Zap and change channel and then chose Current Event to stream.. so annoying! I will be using Dreamepg until this addressed?!

This is the only app you'll need to remotely connect to your receiver. Despite the dev's comment that this app only supports genuine Dreambox units, I can confirm that I have had zero issues getting this to work with ALL Enigma2 based boxes, including Vu+ Solo, Solo2, Duo (genuine and clone) and all Zgemmas. As I said, this app is still unquestionably the best available!

The UI isn't great and picon synchronisation doesn't work properly. Some channel icons show whilst others don't.

Older version works just fine. This version can't play scrambled channels. Only free channels play well.

Last update was not ok. After last update stream does't work. Please where can i download older version ?

Seems to be a improper functioning demo or trial version. Too many errors. EPG not updating. No access to the videos stored in the dreambox harddrive. Since a recent update functionality like a gamma, not beta-version software.
