Judo Reference for Android
This app has all the moves, their names in Japanese and English, and corrilates them to the belt rank. The animation gives enough to remember the moves and if I want a more in depth lesson I can simply hit the youtube button and there is the video teaching the move. So far so good. I really like it.
This app is so AWESOME. It is really such a good app. I was searching for an app which can help me begin in judo and show me the techniques i need to know, then i found this. It is really amazing. It has everything i need and would wish for. Thank you.
This app presents a lot of important judo information in a concise, organized fashion that can help you improve your technique regardless of skill level.
Excellent app which is up to date and details banned moves, other apps outdated and still contain banned throws. Very easy to use and great lay out thank you :-)
This app is great as a reference for all judokas. The quiz really helped me to memorize the japanese and english names for all moves that I will need to know for my grading next week. It also helps as a reference for practicing my moves at home and the youtube button is great if you want to watch more videos of a particular move. Invaluable for all judo students!
This is a great reference guide to many Judo techniques, it mostly focused on tachi waza but it is still nice to take quick glances to remember the basic foundations.
This is really helping me to learn the moves AND the names. It's really great
Love the app but please make the Kata for free.
Very good app
Amazing apps
Excellent and very useful for gradings and learning judo.
A brilliant app for working through your gradings and learning terminology. A really good study aid but you will find your own coach will be teaching variations of techniques dependent on their experience so not a substitute for listening to your coach.
Having taken a break for a while I needed to refresh myself with the 'correct' way of doing techniques rather than competition style. Found this application to be invaluable. Absolutely brilliant. 5 stars.
On the 30th June I have my yellow belt grading, and the 1st July I have my orange belt grading. This app is so helpful with remembering the Japanese words & throws. I love Judo and this app helps.
Great app! I can finally see all the names of the moves of the Judo I once used to practice as a kid and see the corresponding videos.
Good reference to set up a training routine!!!
Thank you
Great app for beginners!!
Improving my judo
Good job
Good innit
Find this app excellent for technique names and the footage provides a good break down of the moves
This is an awesome tool for parents who don't practice judo.
I just started teaching again after about 10 years of inactivity. This is a great reference tool for things I have either forgotten or just can't remember the name of the technique. Love this app!
All the techniques with animated illustrations in your pocket! What else can I want!?
A vary cool this app is vary popular
Too good. Comprehensive and intuitive. Get it and donate! The devs deserve it!!
A really good app, including videos/photos of techniques. Also handy is an embedded YouTube feature, which lets you see many more videos of that particular technique.
Very good tool when you're not sure of the translation. I've used this often now for grading although I don't think it follows the BJA syllabus exactly, it's still excellent.
Wish someone could get something like this for Enshin/ Ashihara Karate
Some of the animations were not clear. But its a great app
Have some shadow Judo I can practice and 5 stars
I wish the videos went to the mat on all techniques.
A clever little program that provides you with the basic information you might need (incl. grading curriculum). Highly recommended! Best one I jave used to date!
Grear app please add some more features
if possible could you please add an ukemi section? I find the fact that only throws are available annoying
This app is good for judokas and people who's interested in learning judo

Nice to have in the back pocket and have a quick look at references instead of flicking through endless pages in guide books.
