Recently, the number of people who look for mushrooms has grown to the point that every year hundreds of mushroom searchers fill the woods. Unfortunately, some of these mushroom searchers also can be posisoned, some of them with fatal consequences.

Boletarium doesn't pretend to be a mycologycal treaty, for which there are a great number of highly specialized publications.

Boletarium just wants to be a guide for those who want to spend a funny time walking in the forest looking for mushrooms. It has not another goal that to provide assistance to mushroom searchers in order to be able to distinguish the edible mushrooms. Boletarium is essentially a small study, incomplete, which only includes the most popular families of mushrooms.

But the best help is always to be cautious with unknown or doubtful species, ruling them out in order to avoid the risk of poisoning.
