KeepIt notepad takes care of your privacy. KeepIt has been developed entirely in Switzerland and only uses standard Android SDK elements.
KeepIt notepad does only need a few permissions on your device and does not access your private data:
- Allow read/write permission on your external storage (SD card) - only in the private KeepIt app folder
- Wake up and detect reboot for alarm notifications

Makes absolutly no sense that if you tag a note it disappear from your notelist even when you select to show all notes. Imagine..if I password protect a note why shouldn't it show up in my list? Nobody can open it anyway...

Be careful! Everytime I tried to delete a label I no longer use, KeepIt always throw error "Unfortunately, KeepIt stopped running" then it closed itself.

Just swapped and transferred all my notes out of evernote into this app...i absolutly love the design, its quick easy and efficient. Im an avid note taker so iv finally found a notebook that i love the look of!...Private coud sync as you mentioned would be awsome, so i hope it comes into fruition very soon, but the backup & Restore is fine for now! Thank you so much

very good -- got me organized in a short amount of time... pretty well covers everything I need...! love the stability of the APP... so good --- would just like to have basic statistics for totals (notes) per label etc.

But I'd love if you added picture linking as a function to keep track of things - i.e. linking several pictures, i could really need this for work, and often one picture isn't enough information while typing would take too long - thanks for your reply!!

Love this app. It's so versatile and easy to use. Can store photos from your files, load a widget, make comprehensive notes which are displayed in truly beautiful fashion. This app can easily take care of all your note-taking needs. Highly recommend.
