Email for Outlook -Hotmail App for Android
It syncs my drafts folder but not my inbox. It always tells me that its "loading new drafts". I also havr trouble logging in sometimes and cannot figure out (no matter who I ask or how many times I try to google it) how to have my emails automatically forward from this account to my gmail account.
There is no LOG OUT/SIGN OUT options! There are Ads above the inbox and so many folders that are confusing. It seemed promising but I rather be picky on this one. Email are able to open, but unable to send.
Worked great at first, but now I can't access my spam/junk mail folder. I can read my inbox perfectly and can send/receive emails as long as they aren't routed into the spam folder.
Dislike all the advertisements have young grandchildren and a lot of them are quite inappropriate. They like the phone and sometimes read letters from relatives with these sitting on the top of the letter
This app is almost like using Hotmail on your CPU or laptop! So far no problems. I can read my emails, reply to them, and organize them. Only downside I see is I can't access my contacts.
Doesnt load emails doesnt send emails shows nothing just blank
Does what it says, doesn't kill my battery like outlook, does send notifications with emails, unlike outlook, only downside is the random ads... Sometimes it's when you open the app, sometimes when you close it, and just randomly in between
It hangs once every few days and have to force close to restart. Sometimes cannot even open new mail.
Just want my emails. There's enough spam and garbage already. I don't need more
I cannot mark emails I do not want or care about as spam, which is a pain in the butt. The advertisement's are irritating, and annoying, as well as unwanted. Fix those and I may up my rating.
Not bad . Good options on the app. Better than the original outlook by far. No annoying icons in your thumbs way
Would give it 5 stars if ads didn't pop up EVERY SINGLE TIME I go into my email. I have 3 other email addresses where I have never seen ads, ever. I seldom use Outlook because of the ads. I did more recently buy a new laptop and all its programs, including Outlook, and that should be payment enough to have ad-free email. Get rid of the ads and you will get five stars from me.
is there a paid option to make the ads go away? theyre really annoying.
If you would give us a chance to decide if we want ads or not I would give this app 5 stars
They don't show you a picture of the flashing ad at the top of the page... makes my head hurt... This app has flashing ADS that are disturbing and distracting when you're trying to peruse your email
A great email system never fails to let you down please do give it a try you wont regret it. Thanks to the developers for an excellent simple email system.....
Yes I am happy with Outlook since lv'e started using it's services. l would recommend it to any one considering having an alternative email address it really makes sense to give yourself a choice.
It seems good app, but ads are annoying unfortunately.
2 step login won't work. How do I set up hotmail for the ap?
I really not impressed with this! Too many adds! Not really user friendly!
There are many seemingly similar email apps, but this one is far and away the best! Here's why: I check my emails from my POP3 Verizon email account on my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) using this app, and also on my desktop PC using Microsoft Outlook. I regularly receive more than 1000 emails per day. Outlook (desktop) is setup to remove emails from the server after I retrieve them. When I refresh my phone's email app, it should recognize that the emails are no longer on the server, and it should automatically remove them from the phone. I've tried 5 other email apps and none of them do this. They all leave the messages on the phone. This means I have to delete them all manually (a 2-step process) which is crippling for my phone (and me)! This app (Email for Outlook - Hotmail App) is the only one that recognizes that the emails have been removed from the server and correctly removes them from the phone automatically...without me having to do anything. Thank Dustin! PS - There is 1 feature missing: The Out1ook icon on my phone should display a badge with the # of new emails. Currently it's just a static icon. Also, while the ads aren't intrusive, I would gladly pay for a version w/o ads.
Doesn't even worth 1 star... Ads with slow loading on my 4G.
There should be a way to opt out of seeing them. Very annoying
I Just installed a few days ago but so far so good...
The ads are hidden throughout the page so you keep clicking on them!
It seems to be the only way to retrieve my hotmail emails ! This is really the only way to get them
I get my updates right away without using 3 GB of data. It is easy and efficient!
It makeing it hard to find new emails
I can't remember an app with this many annoying ads!
I am going to uninstall this ASAP! Confusing, too many ads and killing my battery!!! Bye,bye, Hotmail.
Always seem to have problems. Lost it and had to download again. Not happy.
Not able to work for any official I'd... Avoid using for official purpose
Awful adverts can't get rid of at top of page.
My first time using it but I'm sure its gonna be cool
This is the worst email App I ever for emails.
I try to open an important email and I get no text.
Ads are annoying and too hard to find an old message.
I get copies of everything in both email addresses and have no access to either the trash folder or the spam.
My blackberry broken and i can't find any email solution to replace.

Was forced to open this account when registering my laptop with Microsoft to be able to download another app. Now I can't even access my laptop as it refuses to recognise my password and despite repeatedly trying to reset the password it still won't let me in! When I do finally gain access to my lappie I'll be deleting this and the Microsoft version of the app I was trying to download. Not happy!
