OpenVPN Connect

Come on! After the new version on Nov 4, app cant even resolve the dns of my commercial vpn. Going from bad to worse! Was great before v x.23 now won't connect. Developers, please please please roll back version for us or at least make it available on the web to side load.

Broken since 1.1.23. I very much used to rely on this app for work, but now I can neither connect to my work VPN server (the same TLS error as mentioned in other reviews) nor my home server (same "Connecting" loop as mentioned in other reviews). Please do fix; this used to be the best app on my phone, but not any more.

Since the update on 2nd of November, the app does not allow to select dark theme, also, the connection does not work anymore. Stuck on "Connecting". Have to find a way to revert back to previous version

Totally broken as of the latest release (1.1.23). Stuck in a continuous "connecting" cycle. I still had a previous version installed on a different device, and that works perfectly. Do not update to this version if you need your VPN to work 100%.

X.23 still the same TLS problem. Hasn't been fixed? Why don't you provide an older working version while you try to resolve the issue?

Great. 1.1.23 has fixed my issue, will now look to update server. Thank you for quick fix. Update 1.1.22 has broken my VPN hence one star. Please roll back?

Does want it needs to. Simple widgets to make things easier. Update 11/1/17: App does not work any more after the latest update. Update 11/2/17: looks like it was fixed already with a new update.

This update fixes recent TLS bug. The whole app could be better if it was system VPN client plugin, but it seems there is slight lack of such feature support so it's good enough

Latest 1.1.23 update prevents me from connecting. OpenVPN server certificate verification failed : mbed TLS : SSL read error : X509 - Certificate verification failed, e.g. CRC, CA our signature check failed.

No longer works for PureVPN. Keep getting moved TLS: SSL read error: X509 - Certificate verification failed, e.g. CRL, CA or signature check failed

Still broken in 1.1.23 - getting error mbed tls certificate verification failed, other Windows and Linux clients can connect without issues.

Don't update your app 1.1.23 is broken. I keep getting a error and I am unable to connect to my VPN.

Since the update from 1.1.21 to 1.1.23, the app has broken like many others reported. Please fix. Never had this problem for a year until now.

This app updated 11 hours ago and now will not work on my phone nor tablet. Gives certificate errors. No connections will connect now.

Latest update broke TSL. Getting TLS ERROR: Plaintext buffer too short (1 bytes). TLS error: TLS handshake failed. Please fix!

V.1.23 fixed problem. Need to stop start server to work. 10x!

Recent update has mbed TLS certificate 509 errors they need to fix, can't connect to VPN

1.1.23 release doesn't work for me. Says it is connected but cannot browse any web sites on internet or view any web servers on my local network

Great app but bring back the dark theme or at least the option to choose. And now it's broken

Latest version is not working anymore. Problems with netgear router. A lot of people have the same experience.

Used to be a great app before the latest update. Now useless as it cannot connect to the server anymore.

Works fairly well but has occasional crashes and actually gets disconnected sometimes despite setting the reconnect delay to continuous. Also getting the profile files via website is clunky, and interface related issue. Update 2017-11-03: the black background is now white, so it's annoying to me, but a minor issue if that. Still works well, maybe better than before, however it's not (not necessarily an old issue) graceful when reconnecting from mobile to WiFi - I'd have to manually disconnect and reconnect. Going from WiFi to mobile works fine and reconnects almost instantaneously. 4/5 stars rating remain due to minor issues and fixes cancelling out any rating changes.

Latest version is broken. Connection keeps timing out. Too bad I didn't backup the old version.

Since Update can no longer connect. Stuck cycling connection then times out.

From update my all profiles settings are vanished so I have to report all. A bit of PITA. By the way, where is black/dark theme?

Last update sucks. changed background to white without option to choose black again.

The latest version bombs on connect with bogus certificate verification failed error.

Update 1.1.23 broke it. Cert verification failed on a valid certificate.

After update 1.1.22 not connecting to the server I downgrade app and works fine

Great software, occasionally updates break core functionality, but usually fixed again soon

Update today has fixed connection problem. Back to working again.

It works now, I hate the white theme though!

Latest version sucks.... entire app has white theme. Even the notification icon is completely white. Please fix it. Edit: where's the dark theme

if you have connection issues (packets going out only, but zero incoming) try upgrading your router's firmware. i have asus ac66u and it solved the issue. it fixed lots of bugs including KRACK. g

Latest release will no longer connect. Broken :( 1.2.3 did not fix either. Roll back to 1.2.1 please so I can get it going again and turn off automatic updates

Used to be great. Update created an issue with TLS handshake; unable to connect to server.

It seems the new version no,longer support cert signed by rsa 1024, which is causing problems on legacy servers
